Entertainment includes daytime programs, pools & gardens, live music & shows, night club, casino, tennis courts, water sports and on site spa, gym, sauna & jacuzzi. On Saturday October 15, 2011 we got married at the RIU Palace Punta Cana with 35 guests. We had our ceremony at 4:00 pm at the Garden Gazebo, our cocktail hour in the main lobby bar from 5:00-6:30pm, and our reception in the Alta Gracia Steakhouse from 6:30pm – 10:30pm. Hello Ladies! Dan and I were recently married on July 20, 2011 at the Riu Palace Punta Cana’s beach gazebo at 5:00 p.m. Our reception was held at La Altagracia from 6:30 p.m. until midnight. Pros: great for groups, access to other resorts, good food and drinks
Cons: hard to get a seat by the pool
My FI and I recently attended a friend's wedding here and we had a GREAT time. The bride and groom were also thrilled with the service and their wedding. What I loved about this resort were a few things One big pool with booth type seating makes it easy to find people most of the time. Also great for all lounging together during the day.
