The Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa provides Ultimate Luxury on a white sand Caribbean beach that stretches along the Yucatan Peninsula in Tulum, Mexico.
Xel Há theme park is located three kilometers away.
The resort's hacienda style lobby displays Mexican handicrafts, iron chandeliers and handmade wooden furniture. Seven on site restaurants serve a variety of cuisine from Mexican and Japanese, to Italian and Thai. La Hacienda Bar offers a tequila sampling menu. An Internet Café offers wireless Internet access for a fee. Business amenities include fax and photocopy services. Recreational amenities include outdoor movies, and live music and dances are performed on a beachfront stage. An outdoor pool offers ocean views.
The resort's spa contains relaxation rooms and offers services such as Swedish, Thai and hot stone massages. The spa contains a pre Columbian temazcal steam bath, while a spring water cenote pool functions as a natural plunge pool. This resort features a small chapel where weddings and weekly masses are held. The Explorers Kids' Club provides supervised activities for children ages 3 to 12. Guestrooms.
This Unlimited Luxury resort offers 431 guestrooms and suites which include private furnished balconies or terraces, most with hammocks, air conditioning with in room climate control, direct dial telephones, CD/DVD players, electronic in room safes, coffeemakers, twice daily maid service, 24 hour room service and daily refreshed minibars with soft drinks, juices, bottled water and beer.
An inviting welcome is in store for guests upon arrival. Refreshing drinks and cool towels are offered as guests check in.

Cons: anything 'additional' is extremely overpriced (ex: $350 for a couples massage at the spa)
We had our ceremony at Dreams Tulum on October 16, 2016. We had the ceremony in the chapel and reception on the beach. Overall it was a great experience. Here are my reviews.

From day 1, Yesenia was prompt and easy to communicate with via email. At the end of the day, you get a "look book" about 2 months prior to the day and you go through and pick your options. She responded quickly when i had upgrade questions.

We got married at Dreams Tulum on June 15, 2013 at 5 pm. We had 43 people who all stayed at the resort. The wedding was truly the best part of the whole trip. We purchased the Ultimate Dream package. I did pay around $2,000 in extras, but it was in my budget. My friend married us so I have no review on their officiant. We rented to the sound system for the wedding, which if you are getting married on the beach I recommend. We put our songs on an iPhone and he didn't miss a beat with them.

This is my review for our destination wedding at Dreams Tulum in Mexico. We arrived Sunday the 5th and our wedding was held the following Saturday. All in all everything went pretty well, there were a few bumps along the way that I decided to live with. Our wedding was beautiful, but all in all I’m not sure I would have my wedding here again if I knew then what I know now. Arrival
There were 20 people in our group and coming from all across Canada. The shuttle from the airport felt long as Dreams Tulum was the last stop. Upon arrival we were greeted with champagne and my mother excitedly screaming for us. Check in went smoothly. We got upgraded to an ocean view.

Firstly let me just say after all the hotels I have been in to in the world Dreams Tulum far exceeded all my expectations and more. Choosing a hotel to marry in, comes with a lot of pressures, especially when you are taking over twenty people with you to stay in said resort. But just know that it was amazing having all our friends and family together to celebrate! We just got married at Dreams Tulum on June 11, 2011. We had 47 guests, seven of which stayed off site and were required to buy half day passes. Dreams Tulum was a lovely resort. The grounds are very well manicured and we only had a few hiccups. The air conditioning broke in the main restaurants one night, making dinner a very hot uncomfortable affair. OVERVIEW: We were married at Dreams Tulum Monday, June 28th, 2010 with a total of 51 guests. Anabel was our wedding coordinator though we corresponded with Aurora leading up to our arrival at Dreams Tulum. It rained for 3 out of the 5 days our guests were there due to Tropical Storm Alex but the rain held off for the wedding day (though we had TERRIBLE winds) and we had great weather for the 4 days we remained at the resort post wedding.

the greet you with champagne and towels (very nice)
check in was simple enough. they upgraded us to the preferred honeymoon suite. we orginally booked a JSOV for 1wk. the room was very nice. almost exactly to the room we stayed in at Secrets Silver Sands (will refer to as SSS from now on).
Antonio, our bell boy was kind and explained the layout of our room.
