Pros: Nice looking resort
Cons: Restrictive & discriminatory.
We wanted to have our wedding at this hotel however their contract left a very bad taste. Photography is very important to us and we wanted the option of hiring someone local to avoid paying for the extra airfare and accommodation. Will post contract page.     Going somewhere else!!   Mark. [sharedmedia=gallery:images:85175]

Hello,   I just had my wedding here on January 23, 2016. There was a couple of hiccups but overall the wedding itself was a great time.   We arrived at the resort on January 21. We were picked up on a bus and given our package that included our bracelets and information packages. We had a couple of packages missing for some of our guests so they had a slower check in than the rest of us. We had the Romance Extravaganza Package so us and our parents were upgraded to the Don Pablo Section whil

Pros: Good photography, good florist, DJ good, foods ok, lovely gazebo area
Cons: Too busy, coordinator is over worked, too many surprises last minute after I paid, sloppy, not attentive to needs
First wedding review... To give it a star rating I would give it about a 3.5 out of 5 Florist (resorts vendor) did a good job with the flowers and was easy to communicate with. Considering the resort led me to believe the authorized florist was Jan's flowers (it isn't), the price between the resort vendor and Jan's resulted in the resorts vendor being half the price. They provided upgraded chairs, table linens, charger plates etc ... Showed pictures of what I wanted and it was very close. Ho

Pros: for small weddings less than 10 people
Cons: everything, fees for everything, management are rude, food sucks, people are not organized, make up through spa sucks, anything at the spa sucks...save your money and time
If I could give negative stars I would...It was seriously the worst experience EVER!  People to this day ask me how my wedding went and I have to pause and try to look for something good to say - at the end, I say well I'm married to the love of my life and I suppose that counts for something!     Let me start off saying that we (my now husband) and I traveled here December of last year to look at the resort.  We had done our research that we wanted to get married in Jamaica and we narrowed it

Pros: Great wedding packages, Talented resort photographer, Stunning wedding location, Detail-oriented Wedding Coordinator
Cons: Nothing in regards to the wedding, Resort: food is more miss than hit, staff are not very attentive, beach is not the greatest
Ok so get comfortable because here comes a very long review… just wanted to warn you all. :D     Travelling to Jamaica   My husband and I are from Salt Lake City, UT in the U.S.  We travelled to and from Jamaica on JetBlue.  The airline itself is great; however, they do not accommodate brides, at least they didn’t for me.  Apparently JetBlue does not have a coat closet so there is no where to hang your dress on the airplane if you carry it on, and they were actually saying that we need

Pros: Beautiful location
Cons: not sure yet...
So we went to check out the Bahia, my Fiance and our wedding team, and we don't play around! we're traveling during peak season and we expect at least 150 guest! The Gran Bahia is beautiful, I haven't gotten married yet but I will and I hope that the GM makes us happy! Chandlyn is very professional, I liked her instantly, so I expect that shant change. I will continue to update and let u all know whats happening...

Pros: Amazing wedding location, Great Food, Clean Resort
Cons: Resort is huge!
We were in Jamaica January 9-16th. Our first day, the 9th, we flew out of Calgary at 7am and didn’t get to the resort until about 7pm. It was a super long day and everyone was tired (from being at the airport at 4am) and hungry. I know I’ll forget some things in here so if you have questions ask!   Resort: This resort is MASSIVE!!! We only had a few people in our group (a group of 18) that had travelled before so overall the reviews for the resort were pretty good as we d

Pros: Gorgeous Wedding Site, Nice Reception Site, Good Food, Ability to bring own Vendors
Cons: Bugs, Expensive Packages, Lack of Communication
Hey Everyone-   So we got back yesterday from our 7 day honeymoon in Jamaica. So I will try to review everything. If you have any questions on anything I may have forgotten, please feel free to pm me.    Check In- Speedy, however our room wasn't ready so we went and ate lunch. We were not given a map of the property or any direction towards the buffet. Luckily I had given a map to everyone before the trip I got from a bride here on bdw.    Food- I'm a foodie so I am going to be

Pros: beautiful ceremony setting, great food!
Cons: pricy wedding packages and extras (ie: bar in gazebo)
Hey Guys!!   I've been home for a couple weeks now and life has been hectic. I haven't had time to catch up on all of the thread i've missed but i have read a couple pages and i thought i'd help answer this question about the gazebo....   We rented the gazebo from 845-1045, minus the dj and the bartender. We used an ipod and THANK GOD my sister's boyfriend brought a docking station, because Chandlyn informed me once we got there that they did not have an ipod set up for us unless we
