My husband and I had our destination wedding at Dreams Resort and Spa Punta Cana in March 2016 and it was better than we could ever have imagined. We chose March due to the dry season, low tourist season, and not being hurricane season and we had perfect weather the entire week! We had 65 guests in total and got married on the beach with a private reception on a terrace off the Hitmitsu Asian restaurant. Guests ages ranged from 1yr-65yrs.- very family friendly resort! The day of the wedding begRead more...
Pros: Gorgeous grounds, nice beach, friendly staff
Recently had my wedding at Dreams Punta Cana June 2014. I was nervous about having a wedding coordinator in another country, but I have to say Deyanira was AMAZING. She went above and beyond to make our day so special. We had 38 guests at the wedding. Beach ceremony and then reception at the Himitsu Terrace which had a lovely breeze. The grounds were immaculate. From the wildlife living on the resort: flamingos, peacocks, birds, it was gorgeous! The food was good. I was impressed because usuRead more...
Pros: staff is very friendly, the resort is impecable, the wedding was beautiful, our WC- Deyanira went above and beyond for our wedding day!
Resort and airport ride- the resort is absolutely beautiful, the way you see it on pictures is exactly how it looks in person. The ride from the airport was a little long but it was cool because you get to see the city, the way the Dominican people live and if you are able to communicate with your driver you learn a lot about the people and the culture, all in all it was great! As the bride and groom we got our own private transportation with champagne, roses and a personalized sign, it was a grRead more...
Pros: Location, space, kids club
Cons: Extra charges on bill
Arrival – Punta Cana Airport is nice. Couple of things to be aware of… they will take your travel cards they hand you on the airplane. You are supposed to keep them, but it didn’t matter. We didn’t need them to get out. After you collect your luggage, there will be guys wanting to take it for you to your bus. This was a headache for us. We had a large group, and most people took their bags and left which was good. We had 3 kids and 3 people who had mobility issues. They hurry you thrRead more...
Pros: Wonderful wedding coordinators, friendly staff, beautiful scenery, big pool, nice rooms
If you are looking for the perfect place for your destination wedding, this is it! We were married at Dreams Punta Cana on Dec. 8, and it was everything we'd hoped it would be and more. Wedding Our wedding was perfect. We had 12 guests, and our wedding was held at the gazebo at 4 p.m. with a dinner at El Patio afterwards. Yessica was our wedding coordinator, and she was just amazing. I was a little nervous because our coordinator was switched about a week beforRead more...
Hi everyone, We just got back from our wedding at Dreams Punta Cana. Everything was amazing. There is truly no reason to stress about things. Your wedding coordinator will help you to ensure all of the details are taken care of. We had Carolina as our wedding coordinator and she was fabulous. Our wedding took place at the gazebo at 2:30, we hired Rick York to do the ceremony (who did an outstanding job). Our cocktail hour took place on the portofino terrace from 6-7pm and then dinner anRead more...
Pros: pool, food, wedding coordinator, preferred club concierge, beach, pleasant staff
Cons: multiple weddings daily, vendors in lobby, getting all that's included in wedding packages
We were married in November 2011 and I can't believe it's actually my turn to write a review! It seems like it went so fast, after all the time spent planning! I apologize if this turns out to be long, but I wanted to make sure that all the girls reading this would have some peace of mind when it comes to their planning! I want to make sure to mention a few things, just to make sure that future brides have their perfect day! Travel.... Although this has nothing to do with the resortRead more...

Cons: Horrible security and maitenance staff. Old resort that needs updating. Poor accessibility for elderly/handicapped.
We just returned from 12 days at Dreams Punta Cana during which we had our wedding and honeymoon. I wish I could say it was a wonderful experience without any problems but that just isn't the case. My new husband and I arrived at Dreams on Oct. 31st and were staying in a Preferred Club Honeymoon Suite. We stayed in building 8 on the 3rd floor. The first thing I noticed was how far of a walk it is from the main lobby to the buildings & the Preferred Club. I then soon found out that there areRead more...
