@@CanadianBride2B Congrats! Your wedding sounds and looks like it was absolutely amazing! You look stunning!! Cabo Del Sol was at the top of our list for our wedding too, it's beautiful! Thank you for providing the positive reinforcement about Cabos state after the hurricane and your reviews and grade levels, it's so helpful for all of use newbies beginning the planning. I plan on doing the maracas too would like to also have fans and OOT bags. Did you pack all that from Canada or did you purchase once you arrived in Cabo? If you packed it from home, did you ask for your friends and family for help? I've read many reviews where items get confiscated from customs if you have multiple items. Any tips would be helpful. Hi ismyrneg! Congrats! PBSB Resort was my top choice when looking for a resort to hold our wedding even though I have never been there. I did endless amounts of research on resorts and found that most the bad reviews on PBSB complained about the steep hills and wait time for the cart service. But I found that the upside to that is most, maybe even all of their rooms are ocean view. We ended up choosing Sunset Da Mona Lisa, which is a restaurant close by but will still be doing our room block at PBSB. I love the variety of pool options, it is kid friendly and again, the ocean view rooms. It is an all inclusive resort and they allow kids at an additional cost per night. We are getting married June 2015 and expect about 80 guests too, so not sure if the prices vary depending on month. Note that there is an additional charge for any of your wedding guests NOT staying ath PBSB. But I ended up learning that all AI resorts have an additional charge for any one not staying on the property, it's like a day guest pass you are paying for. They have a wedding coordinator on site, but I don't know how quickly they respond, etc. I ended up hiring a wedding planner, so she's been handling all those details for us. But below is what I was initially quoted. Again, not sure if rates vary by month. The Sky Pool is where we would have had our reception and from my understanding, it will be closed off to resort guests and be strictly for your wedding. Hope this helps! & Good luck planning!
