  1. Everyone must take an elevator to access the Sky roof. I'm not sure if its fully wheelchair accessible though. To be certain I would definitely contact the resort and ask.
  2. Hi all, my wedding day was perfect! This resort was amazing. I've been to a few all inclusive resorts and I can honestly say I had the best experience at this one. We met up with our wedding planner the second day we were there and she was so helpful and very organized. She went through the plan for the day in detail and showed me where we would be having our ceremony and reception party. Wedding package: We went with the Free wedding package and paid an extra fee for our additional guests. The Free package only includes 10 guests. This package made more sense to us since we didn't require most of the inclusions that the other packages offered. I simply paid the a la carte prices for specific inclusions that I wanted. For example, I paid an extra $50 for my maid of honor's flower bouquet. I also an extra fee for a few chairs at the ceremony. Flowers: My bouquet was beautiful. I asked for specific colours and that's what I got. My maid of honor got the same flowers/colours but her bouquet was a bit smaller. My bouquet was included in the Free package. We didn't get any additional flowers for the ceremony or reception. Make up and Hair: Both done by my maid of honor Photographer: We went with one of the resort's photographer. We choose the bronze package - $650 usd. We are very happy with our photos. The photographer was very nice and professional. He made sure we got enough photos to choose from. Ceremony location: Sky wedding. This is hands down the best location there to get married. It's on a rooftop of the Hideaway section. It overlooks the ocean. It's so beautiful that there isn't a need for flowers IMO. Our guests were greeted with sparkling wine and their glasses were topped up until the ceremony began. After the ceremony we were all given sparkling wine and we were able to mingle and have our photos taken for about 30 mins afterwards. Our ceremony music was played using our own iPod on the resort's stereo system. Reception dinner: Our semi private dinner was held at the Gourmet Marche. This is the resorts main Buffet restaurant. We were given a room with glass doors so it was fairly private. The food at this restaurant is amazing even though it's a buffet. I would recommend it if you are going with a semi private dinner. Our wedding cake was also included. It was very pretty, however the cake itself was a little dry. That didn't bother us since there was lots of desert to choose from at the buffet. Reception party: We choose to have our party at one of the beach bars. The beach bars have lots of seating and are very close to the ocean. We had about 4 or 5 servers/bartenders and they were all fantastic. We were very pleased with the service that night. We choose to bring our own Bluetooth speakers and our own music (iPod), and IMO that's all you need at this location. We paid a fee for the open bar for 3 hours, as well as a fee for the location. These fees can be found in the a la carte pricing. I would definitely recommend this resort to get married at. Even some of our guests told us that it was the best wedding they have ever been to. My advice to everyone is to keep it simple and relax! If you have any questions feel free to ask.
  3. My fiancé and I have decided to get married at this resort in January 2015. They have already sent information on their wedding packages and they confirmed that the resort is opening on December 17, 2014. Wedding details have not yet been confirmed, but I will be sure to post my experiences as we go through the process.
