  1. Since Grand Sirenis is located 100 kilometers away from Cancun, most of the services are higher on prices in that resort, besides problably the diference on price is the hotel vendor fee on that price...... The bad news is even at that price they are not taking care of the legal paperwork Firemarshall permits and insurance (when a professional company takes cares of doing it in legal way just the permits on that jurisdiction cost around $250 usd, kind of expensive but with the peace of mind included),,so be careful the quality of the fireworks Good luck The bad news is .you get what you pay for... at that price they are not taking care of the legal paperwork Firemarshall permits and insurance (when a professional company takes cares of doing it in legal way just the permits on that jurisdiction cost around $150 usd, kind of expensive but with the peace of mind included),,so be careful with the quality of the fireworks....and watch your wedding dress Good luck

  3. Hi , That resort has a lot of weddings ,prices are very affordable , they try to compensate their location (about 2 hours from the airport) with good deals on wedding groups, well maintained property, ...you should .Try calling direct to the property and ask for the General manager or his assitant (that always works) to get the attention you deserve...hope they are no too busy to assist you
  4. You should contact Israel at production.creative.soul@@gmail.com he has more than 10 years of experience and he is flexible according to client budgets
  5. Sure ,most of hotels applies a vendor fee.....but I meant a reasonable one...I assumed the hotel business is to sell hotel rooms and Food and beverage...not vendors fees charged on brides wedding budgets......if they charge you a fee what you obtain in return as a bride-client-guest?
  6. I have been on several weddings at Moon Palace and I saw they know very well their business, very proffesional and friendly staff....very romantic touch when the bride arrives on a carriage pulled by a beautiful horse http://elizabethmedina.com/destination-wedding-at-the-moon-palace-resort-cari-and-nicks-cancun-destination-wedding/
  7. The charter boat is $230 usd in that zone.....I am agree with you if we avoid the vendor fee as you mentioned (is not fair to overprice everything) ; (
  8. Very nice description of your experience ,sounds like the perfect wedding,congratulations....any restrictions? do you know if the allow the trendy wedding fireworks on the beach?
  9. Its a beautiful hotel, but...sometimes they keep not very friendly policies to make a personalized wedding...ask them for their list of restrictions, hours, extra charges, on venues, no fireworks allowed, small beach area....but services in general and property is good
  10. Maybe this is not much information but at least is somethingh important and beautiful:There is a Mexican girl who studied graphic art and design and she lived at India for about for 8 years, she lives now in cancun she is the best person to do the henna makeup ,she is an artist people got amazed with her designs and work, her name is Veronica de la Paz https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.415654291835953.95548.100001741577960&type=3 here is her facebook with photos
  11. I heard comments about a lot of restrictions to do a personalized wedding on thta property, and over price$ for outside vendors (fees), they want to impose brides with mandatory in house services ,they dont allow fireworks even if they have a hugeeeee beach area and empty land....its a shame is a beautiful resort...they should spoil the brides in a good way ...not spoiling their business

  13. One option to launch fireworks( without the safety issues at the hotel beach thatch roofs ) is hire a company who can launch the fireworks form the sea on board of a boat, most hotels agrees on this option, I saw a weeding at Rosewood Mayakoba with fireworks from the sea it was so beautiful with the reflection of the pyrotechnics on the sea, and a total surprise for the guests ,they didnt expect fireworks from the sea.. : ) Here is the contact at special events mexico hugo@specialeventsmexico.com http://www.specialeventsmexico.com/homeinicio/specialeffectsfireworks.html
  14. From September to mid November ....Moon Palace is kid friendly nad has ebach weddings options...not sure on the reservations policy ,buy I am sure they wil be friendly too
  15. Moon Palace accepts fireworks on their property, Hilda Arista at Special Events Mexico has a great reputation with wedding coordinators in the area and clients, She makes beautiful displays https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hj1sCj3VDj4 even launching form the sea on board of a big boat....Fireworks always delivers the party mood : ) I understand that it is against the law to bring sparklers on an airplane (as we are traveling from the U.S. to Cancun, Mexico) since they are combustibles or firework-like....Those are 36" sparklers you can get that locally at special events mexico info@specialeventsmexico.com Fireworks displays for weddings at cancun or riviera maya goes from $1,500 usd up to sky.... http://www.specialeventsmexico.com/homeinicio/specialeffectsfireworks.html
  16. Hot summer at the Mexican caribbean

  17. I saw an aghd ceremony 2 weeks ago at the hard Rock Riviera maya Hotel...but the bride and groom brought a person to do the wedding ceremony, the hotel help them with the setup and a quiet location
  18. If you are going to get married at Moon Palace , they have ministers that can do a ceremony with a religious "touch" according to the text you want to include on your wedding (I believe they call them non-denomination ministers) a friend got married at Moon Palace by the minister Gino Hidalgo (perfect english spoken) and very open to make a personalized wedding according to the bride and groom needs,......good luck
