My package includes my hair, but makeup is $70 at the resort's salon. I think I may just do that. I don't have any friends who are makeup artists and I suck at makeup. My friend who got married in Florida said to def go with airbrush so I plan to do that, even if it's extra! I don't want to sweat it out! I read a review where the bride and her bridal party got their hair and makeup done at the resort and it looked good so I'm not worried.

Lots of nurses in here! Yea I've tried to come up with a signature and have yet to find one that flows like my current one.

I think 1000 for 4 days is reasonable for an all inclusive in paradise! I mean once you pay that money that's it! They don't need to bring any cash if they don't want to! I'm making sure to mention that fact in my invitations. All food & liquor included!

Ooo I like this idea! We don't have a wedding party either! I wonder if I can change the title of that to wedding guests or something !

Hmmm I did not know that! Dollar stores for the win! I've heard a lot of brides finding great stuff there! The address labels don't have to be fancy, so I could probably print those at home in black ink. Yay!

Yea even though I see no change I'm trying to take pictures because I know later I'll regret not having any to compare lol. Wow that's amazing! I'm definitely keeping some old clothes....a lot of my clothes right now have to be donated. I have one pair of jeans I just bought because all of my jeans were too big Luckily I had a couple of t-shirts and tanks that were fitted so now they're pretty loose but still wearable. The good and bad thing about losing weight is having to buy new clothes!

And figure out what we want to do for the envelopes....I like how some people have stickers on it but I wonder how much that would cost to print everyone's addresses on stickers? I would probably buy stickers for the return address or I wonder if I could design that in Word and print it at staples on the paper with stickers....hmm. So many ideas! I have never been crafty before, I'm not hating it....lol.

Yea I def don't wanna pay a ton of money after we're already married lol! I can't wait to get to my goal! It feels so slow. I can see the change in my clothing but that's about it. I think we're going to end up doing ours at the resort too. We moved to TX last year and our friends are all in NY & MA. So it'll just be easier to do it there without spending a ton of extra money. I'm thinking we could go to the sister resort that we're allowed to go to so we don't end up going to the same places we will be at for the wedding. I haven't had toooo much drama but enough to cause a headache. But we still have over a year to go so I'm sure we'll encounter more. So my fiancée is Jamaican and you know, seeing as we're getting married there you'd think HIS parents would be happy? Nope. His dad at first was mad we were spending too much money on the wedding...but when my fiancée explained how much cheaper it was he was fine with it. His mom was happy with it but now she's giving him a guilt trip because she has to pay for her flights and his two younger brothers (his parents are divorced). Ugh! My parents have been supportive the whole time thank god! My aunts are excited minus one who wasn't rude but asked why we couldn't get married locally. I explained about the finances, etc. She was fine with it, and she's actually throwing me a bridal shower bc she can't afford to attend. Apart from that I haven't had too much drama....yet! Now onto the bridal shower planning....well I live in TX and I am from MA so I was planning to go home around January to go dress shopping, so when I spoke to my aunt I told her that and she said she'd plan it for that time. Well now my grandmother and my mom are all why don't you come later so there won't be snow, etc. Our wedding is in October so I told my grandmother I can't wait until spring to go dress shopping! It takes months to get an order in. So she says why don't you order your dress there. Well silly me I thought you'd all like to be there for me to go dress shopping....now I have no idea what to do! Those look awesome! Where is the cheapest place to buy cardstock? I think we will def do that. And yea I don't need to print anything on them. He doesn't want a bow wrapped around it though so I have no idea what I will do to the outside of it. We may just leave it plain so that way it can fit inside a regular envelope without costing extra in stamps. Where did you get envelopes to mail them in? I'll have to scroll through some of the other topics to see what others have done too.

Well I've been working on our invitations....I am waiting until our package prices are quoted to us to mail them out so we can include deposit amounts, etc. I am definitely going to put an early deadline date for deposits so we don't run into this problem hopefully! I used to think about the possibility of not getting alot of people to book, but honestly, less is definitely more money in our pockets! We aren't stressing anymore. The people that really want to be there will! It's about the couple anyway

How did you make your ticket jackets? I was going to buy some from a craft store or something, but I am obviously into saving money where I can....lol. I pretty much designed this myself with minimal input from the fiancee. He did help make the final decision on colors of the clip arts though. And he approves of the final design, lol. He's not into the wedding planning other than where I force it on him. If it were up to him we'd go to city hall and forget the destination wedding altogether. Men.

Honestly I sleep like the dead so I think wherever I end up as long as we didn't sleep in that day, I'll be able to sleep good. Lol. I think not sleeping together the night before is cute and traditional, but I know my fiancée hates anticipation so we shall see. I'm putting some tips with our invites (boarding pass style) so it'll be the third page of the invite. Then on our luggage tag rsvp I'm requesting everyone's email, so any other info from that point on will be communicated via email. The brochures are nice but I'm trying to keep costs down. If we had the money and liked our weights we would have done some but we decided against them because the fiancée hates pics and we didn't want to spend the extra cash and we also were planning to lose a lot of weight before our wedding so we didn't feel comfortable taking engagement pics at our weights at the time. This is exactly what happened with us too! When we started talking who would be in it, it got way too complicated. So we are planning on the same thing - I'll have my girls in the room with me as we get ready and his friends will be with him [emoji1] So happy we don't have the stress of picking their BM/Groomsmen attire, etc. We're trying to keep costs down also. Yea I'm def planning on a welcome party! We're planning on getting there on the Wednesday and our wedding is Saturday. So I have to see when everyone will be arriving. I know one of our friends has the ability to call internationally with his T-Mobile plan, so maybe we'll plan to utilize whoever has phones that work and have them relay messages to the others also. Ideally all of our rooms will be near each other so we can just knock on doors! Lol. I'm trying not to stress but then when I thought about it I was like crap how am I going to get a hold of everyone! I have a fitbit one. I use it and myfitnesspal and I love that it syncs. My motivator is our wedding and I have an image in my head of how I want to look so that's what motivates me!
