    We did ours ourselves. We sent out passport invites and boarding pass rsvp cards. Everyone loved them. Good luck =0)

    I love the ornament idea! Unfortunately my wedding date is right after Christmas, but every vacation we go on we always get an ornament. Love love love it!

    I am getting married there in January 2015 so I will be following this thread! I am working with Juan Carlos and so far I have been skeptical....except every bride I hear from on this site says they were amazing! So I am keeping the faith =0) Any updates will be appreciated =0) niknic456, what a beautiful wedding. I am getting married at NOW Sapphire on January 10th, 2015, and you have what looks like my exact dress, the colors, and vision that I am trying to put together. Its really nice to see your pictures and my "vision" come to a reality! LOL. Now I feel bad that I am just copying you but looks like you had an amazing time and wedding. Congrats and thanks for the update =0)

    Happy Engagement! I would start with a TA. They can give you location ideas after hearing what your vision looks like. Ours was able to provide everyone's packages, prices and pictures and reviews so we had a good starting point. I change my mind constantly and she was so patient with me and helped me with all of my questions. Good luck and congrats!

    We had to send STD as soon as we booked our location. We wanted to give our guest ample enough time to book their trip and have time to pay for it since it will be difficult for some to afford. We just did a magnet for people to stick on their fridge that referred them to our wedding website for the information. That way we had time to get out formal invitations and pick our color scheme etc. Good luck and happy wedding planning!

    If its that important to you keep on looking. There are plenty out there and you want to make sure you find the right fit for your ceremony....it only happens once =0) For us the Grooms mother will be performing ours. That was her only request and I couldn't be happier with it =0) Good luck and congrats!

    Congrats on your engagement! We got engaged in Jamaica and it was the most beautiful, peaceful and exciting vacation we have ever experienced. We stayed at the Royal Caribbean, a Sandals resorts...unfortunately its an adult only resort so we couldn't go back there to get married. You will have an amazing time and I will check back in on the post to see where you decide! I would love to go back there with the kids one day =0)

    Congrats on your engagement. We also had trouble deciding between Mexico or Jamaica. We got engaged in Jamaica and really wanted to return there. The beaches were beautiful, service was spectacular and we had the greatest experiences there.......However Mexico (Riviera Maya) is kid friendlier ( I have a 12 year old), a bit more economical for our guests and we felt our safety was our number one priority. The beaches may not be the greatest but we are excited to lounge in a chair with an exotic drink, and still being able to enjoy water sports in 80 degree water =0) Good luck and congrats again!

    We are putting contact numbers on our schedules that will be passed out in our OOT bags. The MOH and MOG will be anyones contact while at the resort. Other than that we aren't worried about it =0) Good luck and congrats on your upcoming wedding!

    We have a wedding site that we put all of our TA information on and our invites had a whole page dedicated to our TA. We really didn't want our guests booking through anyone else so we pushed it as much as possible. Also for our immediate family it was all word of mouth...basically here is the info now go book your trip. LOL. Not quite the greatest etiquette but it worked out. Also mention that your TA has the best rates ready for them.
