I am worried about the back-up plan for the beach reception as I am getting married in June. -How much did you tip the waiters, spa and wedding coordinator? ps: Thank you for mentioning the free cocktail reception ( I did not know and I will definitely ask my wedding coordinator, so far all the prices seemed to went up and it looks like they are more stringent with changes :-( )

@@NurseNurse0101, We are getting married on June 4th and asked our WP Victoria about the increase in prices. If you mention it, I believe they will honour the lower price on the brochure they gave you in the first place (so $66 vs $70).

Hi Ladies, Congratulations to all of you regarding your upending nuptials. I have just found this website (I wish I did earlier!) and I am getting married at the Barcelo Maya Palace on June 2014, strawberry package (yeah I am one of those very late brides and starting to get an anxiety attack with the amount of planning is involved in a destination wedding, who said it was easier????? :-( ). I've started the process with my wedding planner (Victoria) but I am not sure what options are available in term of decoration (lights, flowers etc.).
