I am getting married in July 2014 at The Royal

I am in the same boat. We are planning in getting married in July 5 or 6th, 2014. Have chosen a hotel but haven't put a deposit down. I have signed up with destinationweddings.com, paid the $50 initial fee, received their room agreement letter and guess what??? They are charging me additional $25 per person for Independence day (July 3, 4, 5). !! Can you believe that?!? Now, I can understand if I was traveling around the US .... but we are going to Mexico! It's not their Independence day! Has anyone heard of this?
