Hello, I'm putting my list together as we speak! Did you send your DJ these long lists? or is this just Ipod playing? What was the first song you put on at the reception that got people up and dancing?

Has anyone used the onsite DJ? I'm really picky about my music but like the idea of having a DJ. Did you send him a list of songs? Bring an iPod? How did that all work? We are getting married in March, any info on weather? wind? storms? This is such a great find of a website/forum! For those of you having a hard time getting ahold of someone at the resort, be patient, it's the way it works and they wait until about 3 months before your wedding to get to you (they seem to have a list) and then they are great and helpful!

I'm wondering about wedding makeup as well, did you wear sunscreen? I've heard that wearing sunscreen under your makeup with flash photography can make you look washed out?

Hello brides! I am getting married in March and have found this website to be incredibly useful! A couple questions, I want to have an informal meet and greet the day we all arrive to ensure I see everyone and we can do a little mingling as so many people have never met each other. Does anyone have a suggestion where I can have a group of 60 meet? Where would you suggest to have dinner (again for 60 of us) that would be able to accommodate some quick speeches? Gifts? Did you receive gifts from your guests who attended the wedding? If so, did they bring them to Mexico? What sorts of things did you do for favours? All of your advice is welcome and wonderful!
