I just got married at the Hyatt Ziva in November. It was SO AMAZING! See my gallery photo's I will also attach a few for you. Let me know what questions you have, I seriously have no complaints. The resort is amazingly beautiful and we had a blast not only at the wedding but the whole week we stayed.

My wedding date was 11-12-13, about 40 people with us. Ceremony and Reception on the beach. It was perfect. We hired Reverend Marco Aregchiga (https://www.facebook.com/marcoarechiga?fref=ts) he was amazing and made out ceremony so special and unique.

Marcie Castro (https://www.facebook.com/marcie.castro.9?fref=ts) was our DJ and she had over 15 years of DJing in Cabo experience. She was SO MUCH FUN and the life of the party at our reception. She brings tons of props to the party and they are hilarious!

The resort did the flowers, Bridal boquets and isle decoations. They were perfect and so beautiful. I e-mailed over tons of pictures of what I wanted and they matched them perfectly!

I had serveral SPA treatments before the wedding, also awesome and so relaxing there. Also the SPA provided my Wedding Day services Hair and Make-up in the suite for both myself and the bridesmaids. I was very impressed with my hair and make-up I thought I looked amazing.

My best recommendation is to read my full review on the resort and to have your ceremony on the beach instead of the gazebo. The gazebo is pretty but not very private. Everyone at the pool is there watching and in your pictures.

I recently got married in Cabo, and Honeymooned in Playa del Carmen at The Royal Mid November 2013. Just a few words of advice when planning to wed here. My husband and I watched 3 weddings take place while we were there. The beach is VERY crowded ALL THE TIME. Even if you have the spaced reserved for your wedding, there will always be people around in their swimsuits watching. Also in regards to the beach, I have been to Playa del Carmen 3 times and I LOVE IT THERE, BUT the beach at the Royal even thou it's beautiful, it smells like sulfur all the time. It's right next to a very large dock that to be honest is very ugly! The entertainment and pool staff are awesome and very attentive, but the front desk and hospitality staff are not! When we arrived to check in (after check in time) we waited almost 2 hours to get a room and after we did.. it was the wrong room and even had a custom letter to another couple in it! After switching us rooms 3 times they finally got it right. But that ruined it for me for a few days. I payed close attention to the wedding consult rooms while we were there and everything is very cookie cutter and "packaged" if that makes sense. I would steel away from this resort for a wedding just based on all of those things. PDC is SO BEAUTIFUL and a wonderful place to get married , I would just choose a better location based on my experience there.
