Hi everyone! I just booked my wedding at GSP for January 2014 and super excited to be going to the Mayan to marry my fiancée there at such a beautiful resort and part of Mexico. We are having a small ceremony, about 20 are joining us and this is where my problem lies, most packages require 40 to book a reception and cost a fortune! I hate the thought of purchasing liquor and food at an all inclusive. The other hurdle is the photography. I was hoping that perhaps someone here is having their wedding on the same day as mine or before and would be willing to split the cost of putting him/her in a room to avoid the day pass charge and food charges. I have read somewhere else that this worked well. Being that my wedding is small and I am opting to possibly not have a reception, we would only need the photographer for about 3 hours max. My wedding is on the 25th of January . Hope to hear of other great experiences and ideas out there and ways to save money!! Thanks!!
