I am trying to get procedural information regarding the steps required to allow a Canadian to act as a legal/legitimate officiant at a wedding on Mexican soil, between two Canadian citizens. As a reverend/minister I have sanction in the province of British Columbia to perform wedding ceremonies. My nephew and his fiance plan to be married in February of 2015, at a location to be determined just south of Cancun, Mexico. They would like me to act as the officiant for this ceremony and so I am inquiring about how how this can be done. Thanks for any help you are able to give!
