  1. Hello Brides, Does anyone have experiences to share from the salon at Now Larimar? I am getting married in one month and wondering if I should use their nail services or get them done at home before I go. I will be down there 6 days before my actual wedding. Any input is helpful!!!!
  2. Hey there, I am getting married one month from today!!!! YIKES! So soon. I do have a question, has anyone had services done at the salon at Now Larimar other than hair/make up? I will be in the DR for 6 days prior to my actual wedding day and I am curious if their nail salon is any good? Any input would be helpful!!

  4. @Jahanee Conner, good question..I am wondering the same. My reception is scheduled for the pool in November of this year. @MJ Ouellette do you know if they charge you to bring your own sashes/runners?
  5. Congrats!!! Any suggestions you have...must do or must not dos? How about the reception...where did you have it, bring your own decorations? Music? Any advice would help!
  6. Chawny- We are trying to be economical and decided to bring our own ipod dock to play music after dinner to have our dance instead of paying them to do this. Our group is somewhat small and I don't see why we need to spend that much on a dj or their music equipment. My fiance bought an i-home from ebay that is small enough to fit in one of our suitcases. I just hope they allow this!

  9. I am getting married at NOW on 11/15 and am still clueless about some important details!!! Has anyone had a wedding and did not add on DJ service? Anyone have thoughts about not doing this service? We are doing a pool dinner reception and were thinking between the eating, chatting and speeches we would take up 3 hours then go to the disco to dance after...and save $$ Also I am clueless about what to do for center pieces...I don't want to buy everything at the resort but I don't want to have bare tables...our wedding is very simple, tan and light pink/blush colors- a wedding party of only 3- we are not super fancy people so we want simple and cheap and easy to travel with. Ideas??? We are doing pictures through WBA before the 5 pm ceremony, 530 cocktail hour then 630 dinner reception at the pool. We are making canvas tote bags for welcome bags and stuffing full of trinkets we find in DR. Is it smarter to bring our own sand ceremony set or buy one there?? I feel so flustered
