  1. If you are doing one big table it is a long rectangular table, otherwise they are round tables. The round tables are large and sit up to 10 ppl. The centerpieces are crazy expensive! I am getting married there in April and have decided to bring my own centerpieces. The ones in the option book are sooo tiny and still cost $70/each. It was WAY cheaper to bring my own and pay for the set up fee as I am having to anyways since I am bringing other things. Also i know you can't do fake petals on the tables. It is against their policies. They would have to be real petals, so you would be forced to buy those through them Wear whatever is going to make you happy!!! If this is your dream dress who cares that it is traditional and you are getting married on the beach. It is your day! Im doing a beach ceremony and my dress mermaid style, lace and a train! I picked the dress I wanted regardless of where the ceremony is being held
  2. Hi! i just got all of my stuff to choose our wedding details! I am wondering if anyone has bought the centerpieces and what are the sizes? Also about bridesmaid bouquets... I dont like any of the 4 listed, I am wondering what everyone did for those? Did you send pictures in or something? Also did anyone have their reception at the rectanugalr pool? Is there any lighting there?? Also where is the best place for cocktail hour? Do you need to rent tables and chairs?? Ekk soo many questions! Thanks for any help in advance
  3. I know that there are set times that they have for when you can get married depending on the time of year. My wedding is in april and we could chose 330pm and i think it was 5 or 530pm. I know if the fall it is darker earlier so I believe the latest time you could get married was 4pm, but if there is another wedding on your day then you have to see what is available. We were sent our time options once our travel agent contacted the resort and we confirmed our wedding day.
  4. Hi, My wedding is April 21st 2014, its coming so quick!! I was wondering if anyone could tell me what they paid for bridesmaid bouquets? Mine is included in the package, but my girls are not. I was also wondering if anyone bought flower centerpieces from the resort and if they were happy with them and how much they cost?? Also, we are having our reception at the dolphin pool and wondering if anyone has any suggestions for lights there and what size the tables were at the reception? we are hoping to sit between 4-6 ppl at each table. Thanks so much!

  8. Hey everyone!! I have just started to read through some of the more recent posts for my upcoming wedding at Dreams Tulum in April 2014!! I am already excited and I know it is still so far away, haha I am just starting to think about details for the wedding and trying to get some ideas about what to bring with me and what to just pay extra for at the resort when it comes to decorations, music etc.... If anyone has any information they are willing to share with me that would be greatly apprciated!! So far we have 32 guests coming, and we believe the number will be closer to 40 once the day arrives. Thanks in advance for any help!!! Lisa
