Hi all, I'm getting married January 19, 2014 at Moon Palace. I love the palace resorts and have been going with my family for the past 10 years or so. I'm debating switching to one of the adult's only spa ones like Isla Mujeres, or Le Blanc for honeymoon (those are still part of Palace resorts)- are you ladies sticking around the area for honeymoon?

Hi all, Congrats on your weddings! I just put a deposit down for January 2014 and I'm really excited. But, I am trying to figure out room rates for January and for some reason it seems like the rates we are getting quoted are higher than what a travel agent can get. Any ideas? Anyone mind listing their room rates? We are members and it seems like that isn't doing anything for us. Also, I'm having the hardest time trying to figure out what to do with tables-- we are having more than 30 guests, and I'm not sure whether I should go with the complimentary and bring our own decorations, or to do a package? With the complimentary, do they charge for the additional tables more than 30 guests? Do they charge to set up your decorations? I've been reading mixed things. thanks!!!

Hiii, I just put our deposit down for January 2014!! Congratulations to all of you!! I have been going to Moon Palace on vacation with my family for several years so I am happy to answer questions about the resort. We are having a hard time with room rates-- it seems like the rates we are getting quoted are rather high and a travel agent we know can get them for less, but they won't count towards our rooms for the wedding for the purposes of the reception, etc. Any suggestions? Also, anyone know if you have to pay extra per table if you get the complimentary package but you are having more people than 30? thanks!!
