Hello, I'm new to this site & just joined! (: Anyway, we are planning a destination wedding on West Coast Florida from Michigan. I have visited Siesta Key several times & would absolutely love to get married on that beach! However, I cannot find a reception area. (Considering renting the pavilion located on the beach but not sure) We have a small budget & I want the reception to be on beach as well. We will only have approximately 30 guests. One option I've come up with is the Helmsley Sandcastle Hotel, which is on Lido Key Beach (never been) but their banquet room doesn't have any view of the beach/water :/ As a result of not finding much, I am also considering St Pete Beach. Our wedding will be in October of next year. If anyone has any recommendations, please let me know (:

Hello, I'm new to this site...just joined today! We are planning a destination wedding on Florida's west coast. My heart is set on Siesta Key but I am having a hard time finding a reception area. We have a tight budget & I want the reception to be on the beach, along with the ceremony. We will have approximately 30 guests. Does anyone have any suggestions or places for me to look into? The closest thing I've come up with is the Helmsley Sandcastle Hotel on Lido Key Beach but if I can pull off Siesta Key Beach, I want to do that! We are also considering St Pete Beach. I want everything in the same area so It's as convenient for my guests as possible & less headache for me (:
