I have decided to go with the Royalton as well! So far Laura has been pretty helpful in getting back to me with some questions I have had. I am booking through Apple vacations, and the agent I am working with went there and was nice enough to send me pictures of the ceremony beach and lobby areas! She really liked the lobby area, but I would rather go with the beach since I could get married by the pool anywhere!! -just my opinion. I was bummed to realize that the gazebo decor is not included, but I think Royalton's wedding packages are a lot cheaper compared to other Punta Cana resorts, as I researched a few (Paradisus Palma Real, Iberostar Grand Bavaro, and Secrets Royal Beach). I'm planning on going with either the Free or Love package. It'll be nice that there is the disco there so that we don't have to worry about paying extra for a dance floor! I sent Laura pictures of the bouquets that I was interested in along with a centerpiece and I was surprised at how reasonable the prices were. Now to just wait and cross my fingers that 2015 rates are reasonable!!!!

I had been planning on waiting a year after we were married, but my FI wants to try right away and he has a good point that us being together before we're married is kind of our pre-baby phase. (Since we already live together and decide things together). I'm also starting to get the itch to have kids, so we will see what happens!!

Hey everyone! First posting here! I am planning on a destination wedding January 2015 at Royalton Punta Cana! We are going through Apple Vacations! I'm really surprised that no one has prices this far out!! I've reserved my wedding date, but want the Apple chartered direct flight, but there are no chartered travel dates posted out this far and the resort also does not have their 2015 rates yet! Does anyone know if this is normal?? I know I have time, but I have plenty of guests asking me for the details that I don't have yet!! I'm already putting together a plan for the Royalton! I won't be doing serious planning with them until this summer though!
