Hello Brides! Does anyone know how long/wide the large rectangular tables are? We are just having one big table and I wanted to order a runner for it, but don't know the dimensions. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Lori, I used the 4-5" starfish, bought them from an etsy seller https://www.etsy.com/shop/whitetulipboutique they were 30 starfish for $30 (plus shipping costs). Thought it was a great deal and they arrived safe and unbroken. I'm really pleased with the way they turned out good luck and let me know if you have any more questions!

Hi Mjones! After much deliberation, we decided to just go with the strawberry package...they really don't accommodate for anything unless you pay for the pricier packages (kinda irritated by it actually!). They won't even let you move to nearby palapas outdoors in rainy weather UNLESS you buy the strawberry package or have 50 or more guests. (They stick you in a banquet hall) which for us would be awkward because we have a very small group of 17. To answer your question... our WC quoted us $70/person to add on the beach reception ($26 for kids). Also FYI that the menu will be the banquet menu - surf and turf option is only on the strawberry package menu. Hope that helps

Oh, I TOTALLY know how you are feeling - I think all of us brides stress way too much! I wanted to do a Destination Wedding because i wanted a small intimate wedding with my closest family and friends and above all I thought it would be very easy to plan and less expensive....totally NOT the case! lol. I think the hardest part for me is when I have a "picture" in my head of how I want everything to be and then I get an email from my wedding coordinator that throws me off. I find these big resorts are not too accommodating with requests or they want to charge you outrageous amounts of $$ for extra stuff. It can be very discouraging for sure I'm sure it all works out in the end - I've read so many other brides who get so worked up and then they post their reviews and pictures and they had a fabulous time. (At least that's what I keep telling myself!) hahaha. Good luck and try and stay positive!!

Hello ladies Does anyone have a price list of the resorts spa for hair and make-up? I'm thinking of doing my own make-up but then having the spa do hair...not sure yet.. (decisions, decisions...) ha!

We are going with the Blueberry package and adding on the beach reception/dinner because we don't really need all the extra stuff in the Strawberry Package. I asked my WC (Xhail) what happens when the weather turns and if we can be put somewhere under shelter outside instead of the banquet room, and she replied no...that the back-up is a banquet room and the extra cost of the beach dinner in NON-refundable. This is a bummer.... Also - she forwarded me the "Banquet Room Menu" and I'm not exactly sure if there is a "Beach Reception Menu"?? Does anyone know if this is there are different menus?

Hello Brides Did anyone opt out of live music during the ceremony and just used their ipod/mp3 player? (our ceremony will be on the beach). My fiance has it stuck in his mind for some reason that he doesnt want live music....Just wondering if anyone did this and what the outcome was or how good it sounded. Thanks for the help!

That's so weird that there are different packages depending on what travel company you book with :/ I booked through a Calgary destination wedding specialist agent ( sunwing is the travel company ) the most expensive package was like $10,000.00!!! That's just crazy talk - lol
