Thanks Dina We are looking into a travel agent. The first one was a dud. Didn't even have the curtsy to say congratulations, offer us a seat to sit down , then said she would touch bases in 2 weeks but we should look at resorts ( we had already name 3) Now on to the next lol. It's a little anony but I think I lose it if I was planning a big wedding here in Kingston. Good luck on finding a resort!!! Alison

Hey everyone! I'm just starting to look for resorts for our jan or feb 2014 wedding. Dreams seems to be popular. Bit hubby likes the looks or Melia Caribe Tropical. Any input of that resort? Also do you book your wedding then go to the travel agent and book the week? All new to this. We have only gone to Mexico, last year,with a group for vowe renewals ( and was perposed at tulum) but we didn't have to do any of the major planning. So this is all new to both of us.

Paying for people's hotels would put us under. We don't live in our home town anymore but rather 6 hours away. We do know people will make the drive. But even our wedding party are from back home so that would be 8 rooms at 150 each. We would go - $ if we did that. I never heard that you pay for others rooms. ... Blah I don't know.

We are in debates about doing a stag and doe. I say go for it but john isn't sure if that is the proper thing to do. Any thoughts? We are paying for everything our selves and I feel just the little extra cash would out a lot.
