I would really like to create my own bouquet. I've heard that all of their flowers are flown in but usually in grocery stores there is a floral section and I could get something simple and pretty to create. Does anyone know if the stores in Grand Cayman have a floral section or if making my own bouquet would be feasible based on what they have on the island? I just don't want to spend a ton of money on flowers for all of 15 minutes of using them.

Your pictures are beautiful!! I'm probably going to go with Juliette as well. I wanted to ask you about the labor set-up and break down costs. I feel that the quote she gave us is a bit pricey for setting up chairs and an arch for a group of 30 so I wanted to get your thoughts. she told us $750CI. was your cost similar? The reception will be at Ristorante Pappagallos so there wont be any set-up need for reception. Also, can you give me an idea of the transportation costs with Tropicana Tours to get your guests to and from different locations?

@SB250 The SAME THING happenend to me dealing with the Westin's planner. The first question I asked her was if we had to stay at the westin in order to have ceremony there and she told me no. So we moved forward with discussing my vision etc. Then as she takes for ever with getting the contract to me she finally says I have to book 30 room nights or wait 90 day before my date. I'm not risking waiting until 90 days before my April wedding to book the ceremony with them and their room rates are too expensive for my guests. We are staying at Sunshine Suites and will probably do the ceremony at Governors beach which is a nice beach and its next to the westin beach. If I were you I'd just go with Tiki Beach.

this may be switching gears a bit but lets say I go the hotel route for the ceremony and my guests. Will I still need to hire a planner or would their planners be sufficient (i'm planning on the reception at Pappagallos)?

Thanks so much. I am early in the process my date is April 2014 and i just sent save the dates. I want everyone to be together and mingle so now I won't give any options. I'll try and get some units blocked at a condo and tell people to choose who they want to stay with. I know some will do their own thing but at least everyone won't be scattered everywhere.

Hi, what have your experiences been with accommodations for your guests? Did everyone agree to share condos in 2 and 3 bedroom units or did majority want to have 1bedroom accommodations? I'm wondering if I should ask my guests their preferences or just decide myself.. Thanks

Hi all! I'm still trying to narrow down my venue. I like Kaibo beach restaurant alot. My issue is I wont have enough guests to have the event private so I am open to them having the restaurant open for the public. Have any of you had your wedding and reception there? If so was it a hassle having the space open to the public. They did tell me that they would not be able to section off our space or control our "area". Thanks for your insight

Hi ladies! Im so excited that I found this form! I got engaged 12-12-12 and we are planning on an April 2014 grand cayman wedding. I've been talking to a few different planners on the island and one is from Save the Date. I know some of you used her (juliette heath) but when i contacted her via email another planner responded so im confused on if juliette is still there or are there multiple planners working there. Can anyone share with me any experience you have had working with them?
