Lyman, Thankyou! My ceremony is actually on the beach not in the pavilion/gazebo. I am going to order some fans to put in my guest chairs so hopefully that will help. I tried to talk to my WC about it, but she wasnt very helpful! Oh well, we all might be big ole sweaty messes by the end of it!!

My wedding is June 21st, 2013. Sounds like you did figure out a better deal so that's good! I have emailed several photographers and found one or two with good prices but that stupid vendor fee ends up ruining it. I might just cross my fingers and hope for the best with fun ever. What time is your wedding and which location? Beach, gazebo?

Thank you for all of your help. I originally said 2:00 pm, but now I have booked 3pm. I am trying to avoid the $400 fee that is added when I book at 4pm or after : ( Now, I am nervous that I have made a bad decision. I have never been to Cancun, so I anticipated it being hot, but didn't realize it would be THAT hot. I have scheduled a "Semi-private reception" at Pelicanos at 5:00 pm. From what I understand this restaurant is outside too. Am I making huge mistakes? I would LOVE some feedback!

Thanks for sharing. I am just so torn on what to do. That $350 vendor fee is the WORST! Thats what is putting me on a budget for photography because I have to take that on! I wish I could see some of their work other than what they (The Royal Cancun) shows me. Del Sol was way out of my budget : (

Great Review! I JUST booked my wedding at the Royal Cancun! Did you get married beachside by Pelicanos? Also, I am SO relieved to hear about the hair and makeup. I was really nervous about using the resort salon because I didn't know anything about them. Did you get your flowers done through the resort? Photography was through the resort too, right? How did it turn out? Sorry for so many questions but I am going into my wedding blind! haha
