  1. There are most certainly cheaper options but we went with these - http://www.discountmugs.com/product/pg153-20-oz.-double-wall-orbit-promotional-tumblers/ We've already had our fill of DIY so we wanted something turn-key, and really wanted something that was insulated as well. They just showed up in the mail the other day, we'll see how they hold up but we're really happy with how they turned out. They came with matching straws as well.
  2. I also would love a copy if someone is able to share, I can probably host it for others if external links are allowed - mklukas (at) gmaildotcom
  3. We decided we didn't want to be around family and friends for our honeymoon so the day after our ceremony in Montego Bay we're heading to Negril for a week to ourselves. This way we can 'get away' but it doesn't add significant cost to our trip. Also lets us see more of Jamaica which will be nice. I can't wait.
  4. We're also trying to make the same decision. We will be getting married at Iberostar Rose Hall Beach in April, we had planned on using digipix but now are on the fence. Does anyone know what Iberostar charges to bring in an outside photographer? I sent them an email but haven't received a response back.
  5. My Fiance and I are about to do the same thing - I've heard of others having this problem and this site has some options that may work if your Resort doesn't have something in place to help with this. http://www.immihelp.com/immigration/notarized-copy.html Basically you can type out a little paragraph below the copy or on a spearate sheet that states it is a true copy, sign that, and have that notarized. Hope that helps
  6. My Fiancee and I were initially looking at Mexico but all of the marriage requirements (Blood test, translation of documents down there, and back, being in the country multiple days before the ceremony, etc) caused us to look at other options. Jamaica has been high on both of our lists as a place to visit and honeymoon destination - the overall cost wasn't significantly higher, the marriage requirements are far easier to deal with, and English being the language will also make things slightly easier on our guests.
  7. Not a Bride but my Fiance and I are getting married @ Iberostar Rose Hall Beach on April 14, can't wait for the sun and sand! We were originally planning on using the resorts photographer (Digipix) but I've heard varying opinions about them so we're busy checking on other options.
  8. My Fiance and I were between Rose Hall Suites and Beach, we ended up choosing beach as it fit our budget a bit better. We're not overly picky and the reviews seemed fairly decent on both properties. We'll be there April of this year - I'll certainly post our experiences once we return.
