So I think we have officially decided on Majestic Elegance for December 2013. Thanks to all the help from you ladies actually! We just requested quotes from our TA.. Does anyone have any idea what to expect for this time?

When you sent out your save the dates; did you already know the location and resort? Or did your save the dates just say the approximate week/price and location to be decided! Thanks for the feedback! - helps alot :!

Hi Everyone! We just recently got engaged in September and are looking to get married in December 2013 - destination. We have not quite decided on a Resort let alone an Island! I am interested in Majestic Elegance - it does look extremely promising through reviews and the forums I have read. We are interested in having a Private Receptions and are expecting approximately 60 people to join in on our Celebration. I've read on here that it is approximately $50 dollars per guest - does anyone have any insight on this? Also are most peoples plans to get officially married before then a ceremony in Punta?? We prefer to get married officially in Punta and deal with the extra costs of transferring documents when were home but really have no idea! Any opions or insign is appreciated! TIA

We just recently got engaged in September 2012 and are looking to plan a Destination Wedding for December 2013! We have had not much luck in trying to pick the perfect Resort! We are looking for our guests to spend approximately $1500.00 which we thought is reasonable considering we are going to Gran Bahia Jamaica for my bestfriends wedding for approximately $1300 this December! If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. We are also concerned we are booking to early so maybe that is why prices have came in higher then our suggested price range!
