  1. Yes I got married in November and we used Lands End Films. I thought they did a great job and the price was very good! Here is the link to our video if you want to check it out...... http://vimeo.com/landsendfilms/lauren-tony Hope this helps!
  2. I have been searching for some pictures of the different restaurants at Dreams and of the bars. Could anyone recommend a good bar for Welcome drinks? Pictures would be great if anyone has any! Thank you!!
  3. Yes it seems they do. If you click on the link and scroll to the bottom it says all the restaurants have gluten free options. I looked into it because my mother is gluten free Hope this helps! http://www.dreamsresorts.com/drelc/dining.html
  4. Thank you! I will definitely check them out!
  5. Hi all! I am looking for a videographer for my wedding at Dreams this November and ideally would like a cinematographer but I can only find one so far in the Cabo area, Angel Zapien and his price is a little too high for me. ($5,000 minimum!) If anyone has any good recommendations on videographers or cinematographers I would appreciate it! Also, past brides, how many hours do you think is sufficient for good video coverage? Is 3 enough? Thanks!!! -Lauren
  6. Thank you!! I just looked at their site. They are super cheap. I'm curious about their quality though.
  7. Hi all! My FI is looking for gray (linen or light weight) pants and possibly a vest for his groomsmen. We found one on J.Crew which he bought for himself, but they are too expensive for the GM. Any suggestions on where we can find gray linen? We have found a lot of tan and white but not much gray. Thanks!!

  9. Hi! We left it out of our invites. The fee is only 20-30 at our place I believe, but we had a general idea who would be coming to our wedding since it is destination, and we knew they were going to stay at our hotel. There were one or two couples that mentioned staying at time shares and we told them "Oh but your going to miss out on all the activities that weekend if you don't stay with us since there is a day pass fee of $78!" When we told them that they decided to stay with everyone else at the hotel. If you are really not sure who will attend your wedding and who will not, then I might include something about a "day pass" fee on your wedding website. Plus in our invites we put the contact info for our travel agent who gave great deals on our hotel. You can always let people know that they won't get a better deal anywhere else! Hope this helped I know its a sticky situation! Best of luck!
  10. That is great advice thank you! I would have never thought to talk to the photographer! I def don't want to hurt her feelings.
  11. Hi all! I had a question I needed some help with....my mother bought a dress for my destination wedding and I DO NOT like it at all. It is way too busy for my taste and clashes with my bridal party's colors. The style of the dress is nice, it's strapless and long, but the colors are horrible. I do not want to offend her or come across as bridezilla but I want to know what I should do. Do I tell her I don't like it and to find another option? I would have went shopping with her to pick it out together but she went on her own without me. Advice please!!!
  12. Melissa, I am getting married at Dreams in November and I have heard that their salon is decent so I am getting my hair done, my mom's and my fiance's mom by Neysa and letting the bridesmaids get their hair done at Dreams. From what I have read, Dreams does a decent job if it is a simple style and the girls bring lots of pictures of exactly what they want. Just an option
  13. Hi all! I had a question on Bridal Shower Etiquette as far as who to invite! Since my RSVP's for my wedding will be in before my bridal shower, do I only invite guests that are able to attend my DW?!? I know some of my family members would feel insulted if I did not invite them to the shower but I already know they can't come to my wedding in Mexico. Who does my mom invite?!
