    That's true... we won't get any free rooms. But the quotes we got were $2200 and up per person with a group rate, which is so much more than what I am finding online. We were willing to give up the 3 free rooms to save each guest $600+. Also, we figured our guests just wouldn't use the group rate unless it was at least comparable to what they could get online, which would mean we still wouldn't get the free rooms.

    Yes, I'm hoping! The lighting makes all the difference! We're booked for May 30 2013 so still a lot of time to plan... and fret!

    I heard the same thing from my travel agent... but ultimately, what I've been finding is that the group rates for Now Jade are more expensive and less convenient than people booking on their own. The quotes I received were only valid for 30 days and the early booking bonus didn't make up for the higher price... it was literally $600 more per person than what I could find online.

    I love the lighting in the bamboo room-- was that from the DJ package or was that something you arranged with Pilar? My reception is booked for the Bamboo room and I was hoping it would have lighting options.... mostly, I don't want it too bright!

    Congrats Lauren! We're getting married on May 30 at the Now Jade-- so very excited! It looks like some of us will actually be down there at the same time! Have you thought about colors? I'm having a tough time deciding!

    Hi Brides! Just booked our wedding for May 30 2013 at the Now Jade! Yay! We picked the Pergola deck (ceremony) and Bamboo room (reception)... Any recommendations cocktail hour? I think there is a terrace outside the bamboo room, which I thought might be a nice option... that way our guests aren't walking to a new location so many times. Any ideas? Also, just wondering if anybody has any color suggestions! We love purple--- but I haven't seen many purple options through the resort! Their color choices seem more limited, so just wondering if anybody else has had purple incorporated in!
