First of all, CONGRATULATIONS!!! I second what the other Melissa said - we got married a week apart from each other and were both THRILLED with our experiences (we were able to connect and compare notes thanks to this site!) My ceremony was also at the gazebo with the reception at the Oceana Terrace - I would absolutely do it again, given the chance. There were a few SMALL things I might have done differently, in hindsight, but it truly was the best day of my life thanks to Yesica and the rest of the staff at Dreams. I also used Teresa at Vacations 4 Less...she was extremely nice, professional, and my guests all made it to the resort without incident. Feel free to PM me if you have any more questions

Hi All - I'm leaving for my August 3rd wedding 5 weeks from tomorrow - and I feel like I am starting to panic. I know that the WCs are known for being extremely busy, especially this time of year, but I haven't been able to get a hold of mine and there have been no decisions made regarding food, flowers, or basically anything (other than my DJ, photographer, hair & makeup that I booked on my own). HELP!! Is it time to panic or am I still in good shape??? Did you all experience the same thing and did everything come together in the end? Thank you!

Can you not purchase them prior to your wedding and bring them with you? Not sure if that's considered an "explosive" by the airlines - if you can't bring them with you maybe you can ship them down to Dreams ahead of time? Just a thought - let me know what you find out - I'd like to do the same thing! I'm getting married there the weekend after you are! and DANG - $5 per sparkler? That's a little crazy.

I am currently working with Yesica and requested her after my friend raved about how great she was when she had her wedding at Dreams a few years ago. Yesica is great, very nice and has provided me with all of the information I need to plan my wedding - I'm still 7 months out, so I haven't started on the nitty-gritty just yet. I don't know how Magda was with email responses, but my understanding is that all of the coordinators are on 'Mexico Time' and can take a few days or a week to get back to you...you'll find the same with Yesica. Hi Ladies! I'm just starting to plan my Dreams Los Cabos wedding for August 3, 2013 - yay!! I have a question on the legal vs symbolic ceremonies. I'd like to actually be married on the day of my wedding, but I do not want my ceremony to be in Spanish with a translator. So, I guess my option is to get legally married BEFORE heading down to Mexico?? What do most people do? Any suggestions for me on this one? Seems like a bummer to already be married when I leave for my wedding Thank you!
