I just got back from my wedding, and while I should be unpacking, doing laundry or getting organized, I'm still in Jamaica mode and have resolved to do that stuff later - no problem, mon. We had a pretty big group (almost 65 of us total), so our OOT bags were pretty simple. However, we got a lot of compliments on them and people found them really useful. Our items: Custom tumblers from Discount Mugs Individually wrapped Ibuprofen and Pepto from Amazon Mini hand sanitizers from Bath and Body Works (and went through Ebates to get some cash back on those) Chapstick with SPF Like I said, everyone loved them - especially the tumblers. I loved seeing people use them at the bar and in the restaurants. The bartenders had no problem filling them up instead of the tiny resort cups. Hope this helps!

Just got our custom tumblers yesterday! We ordered them from Discount Mugs and I'm very happy with how they turned out! Now here's my problem: how do I get them to Jamaica? What is everyone else doing to get their stuff to the resort? I looked into shipping, but it's a bit outrageous.

How much was it for the resort's DJ for three hours? I'm going back and forth between hiring a DJ and just having someone man the iPod using that Wedding DJ app.

Contacted Jan's one last time and I'm so glad that I did! We finally got back in touch and my grand total for my bouquet, six bridesmaid bouquets, delivery and tax was less than $400! Also, if any of you are getting married at Grand Palladium and using a florist that isn't Tai Flora (their vendor) for only bouquets, make that clear to your WC. On my Couples Synopsis, I didn't mention that Jan's was only doing bouquets and wouldn't need to set up any centerpieces and my WC tried to charge me an additional $300 for the vendor fee. Once I told her that I they were only delivering bouquets, she said that would be fine and didn't charge me.

Let me just say that this thread has been incredibly helpful! It definitely made me rethink some of the items going into our OOT bags. Now, I hope I can return the favor: For anyone wanting to do hand sanitizers, B&BW is having an awesome sale. My wedding is also Nov. 2013 - November 5 at 4 pm on the beach. When is yours? I am just starting to get into the planning process. We are going to be doing a vow renewal because we would like one of my fiance's friends to be our officiant; it didn't seem like this was possible with one of the wedding packages. I think the Zurielmaka show would be a lot of fun! My fiance isn't much of a dancer, so I think this would take a lot of pressure off him to always be on the dance floor. Plus, it would just be something cool and different to have. What I'm getting stuck on is what to do for flowers and centerpieces. Have you figured that out yet?
