I have combined two dresses together. First photo will be the bodice with teh ribbon and flower. The second and third photos will be the bottom half (no brown ribbon):
Thoughts? Advise? Changes?
Any feed back is appreciated.

I love that bodice...I think it'll look really great.
What fabric would you be using though...Just looking at the flow of the skirt...the wrong fabric may give a slightly different feel to it.

Lol. So sorry about that...I have been up and about (We were hit by a flood) and just checked on here now.
Ok. First off, I reduced my measurement by an inch when sending it out (as motivation to lose weight...turned out I wasnt motivated enough ) So I couldnt zip up the dress.
Well I finally lost a lil and my sister with the help of another friend were able to zip me up...whew.
I took a few pictures but they are pretty dark and I was using my phone so they are not so clear...but here goes all the same.
This last pic shows the spot where its too tight...you can see the zipper doesnt quite overlap at the empire line (the beaded region). Seriously working on the weight now
The dress fits like a glove (albeit a bit snug...still working on the weight).
It has built in cups so I wont have to wear a bra.
Beading is lovely (Ignore the poor quality pictures...I'll have to try it on again when I have company and take better pictures).
So that's that.
Wedding is just 26days away so I can breath a sigh of relief that the dress is all sorted out...now to the shoe (The ones I ordered turned up too small). Oh well...

Received my dress from Jasmines
Did another post and it should be up in a bit.
Cant wait to get home to open the dress. Could barely stop myself from opening it right here at work (Had it shipped to my office as no one is ever at my house when I am out)

Yayyy. I have received my dress from Jasmines. Shipping was really fast.
It was shipped on Monday via DHL and I found it under my office table when I got in a few minutes ago.
So excited and just barely stopped myself from opening the dress right here.
I cant wait to get home and take it out.
But I took some pics of the package and garment bag.
Free gifts. Three mirrors/keyholders.

Even with the whole corset done up so tightly that the sides touch, the dress is sliding off me. The bust is also strangely shaped - kind of pointy and narrow. It was also supposed to be a fit and flare style, but they seem to have made it A line shaped. It's supposed to fit fairly tight over my butt and hips, then gradually flare out, but it flares from my waist the butt/hips are very baggy. I sent them hip measurements, so there's no excuse why they should be so far off. With only two weeks to my wedding, I'm stressed about getting the alterations done in time and properly. I was hoping to avoid any alterations AND the expense of them.
I have photos, just don't know how to upload them...
So sorry to hear that.
Are you saying the dress measurements are off what you sent to them?
Cos if that is the case, then you should contact them to fix it since it'll be an error on their part. You could measure each part of the dress and take pictures of the measurements and send to them...the least they could do will be to reimburse you for the alterations you would have to do.
If you have a good seamstress, they should be able to work some magic...good thing its bigger not smaller than you.
I hope it works out very well and you get the dress you desire.

Ok Ladies,
My dress has been shipped (Earlier than target).
I eagerly await the arrival. 4days to go
I pray it turns out perfect when I try it on

It was at no extra cost. I just reminded them of the part of their website that says they use crystals/rhinestones. And then referred them to the original dress which also showed crystal beads.
They only charge extra when you are introducing new elements to the dress. E.g I brought a different picture of the dress on a real bride and tried to get them to replicate it to look more like that. They billed $60 stating that I should have provided these pictures before they commenced production. I also wanted to increase the sleeve length from 13inches to 16inches but they billed $15 since it was a new measurement.
I decided to scrap the changes
I figured I can live with the sleeve length the way it is Just make sure to collate everything you want to include in the dress "BEFORE" they commence production. That way you avoid extra charges. Also double and triple check your measurements.
Hope this helps

Twas pretty easy. Here is a pic of the initial (Plastic) beading. It just looked...well, plastic (it helps that I grew up beading clothes for my mum when she was a seamstress )
And another picture showing the full beading.
While it looked nice and all, I just wasnt comfortable with it as the original dress had crystal beads.
Here's a picture of the original Jalea.
And Voila, they did a second try and this is the result:
Initially I was a bit uncomfortable with the color contrast but it gradually grew on me (my dress is white) and now I wont have it any other way.
And yeah, I'll be sure to help when the time comes Tulumbride2013, just as lots of brides have helped me on this forum. I cant say thank you enough.
You all rock!

Hi All,
so after much back and forth and some changes in the beading of my dress (They used plastic beads and I had seen on their site earlier that they only use rhinestones and crystals so I requested for a change which they promptly did), I have my final pictures from Jasmines.
I am very pleased with the results and hopefully the dress will also look great on me.
here are a couple of pictures.
Its a Jasmine Knock-off of the Pronovias Jalea.
Here is an older picture of the sleeve in action.
Please share your thoughts ladies.
To me it looks perfect now tho

Hi Ladies,
This is Koralk.
Is there a place where I can find the rules for this forum. Cos I cant seem to post or respond to posts with my old profile, and even the posts I had on before seem to have disappeared.
I am wondering if I broke a rule and was banned or sumtn?
Will appreciate a response.
Thanks a mil.
