  1. Wow, seriously amazing boards, ladies! You really outdid yourself. I especially loved this one: http://pinterest.com/altchar/winter-wedding/! I wish I could enter myself, but I might just create a board for the fun of it.
  2. Great article, Alexis! One other location that pops to my mind in addition to the ones that you suggested is the Ahwanee Hotel in Yosemite. I've never stayed there, but I've stopped there many times over the years to eat lunch, grab a drink or shop at their amazing hotel store. I heard it's also a popular wedding spot - for the summer time, they have a wedding lawn in the back of the hotel. There's also a super small wooden chapel in Yosemite Valley, very close to the hotel, where you can officiate the wedding. I'm doing a lot of free advertising for this place, but I'm seriously in love with it. It has so much character, the architecture is absolutely stunning and it's also super charming and romantic. I've honestly considered getting married there. In winter time, it gets even more magical, as it's surrounded by towering peaks covered in snow. Here are some photos:
  3. This time last year I was in Bali. The image above is at a small chocolate factory owned by an American guy. He also built the giant swing that you can see in the photo. It's a far location for planning a wedding - and flights are long and expensive - but once you're there, everything is really cheap. And one other tip: I visited the Four Seasons hotel in Ubud (the town where Eat Pray Love was filmed) - and I must say it was one of the most beautiful places on earth. Highly recommended if anyone ever wants to plan a wedding there. If you want to daydream a little, or maybe who knows, plan your honeymoon there, check out their photo slideshow: http://www.fourseasons.com/sayan/photo_and_video/?c=t&_s_icmp=mmenu
