For those of you booking under membership rates, do you know if your guests are able to book for 2 nights only, or whether there is a 3-night minimum? I've now asked this twice of our Miami contact, and he continues to check...

Is it the usual case that wedding planners are assigned only 90 days before the wedding? When we reserved the date through the membership department in mid-July, the e-mail said "You will be contacted within 30 days by your Wedding Planner to start planning your very special day." Now we're being told: "Wedding planners contact Bride and groom 90 days before the event takes place. If you have any planning questions, I am glad to answer them for you. The process is, you will have a wedding planner who will contact you 90 days before the event, they will listen to all your requests and give you costs on any extras you may want as well as the events that you may have included and the type of meal served, etc. Once you arrive at the resort you will be contacted by your wedding coordinator who will go over everything you requested to the planner." Which one is right?

For those of you who were corresponding with Juana Moreira in the Miami office, I sent her something this morning and received this out-of-office reply: "Thank you very much for your e-mail. I wanted to let you know that I will be leaving Palace Resorts Weddings as of Tuesday, August 14th, 2012. It has been a pleasure to serve you and be a part of such a special day for you. But don’t worry, I have delivered your entire file to RICARDO ACOSTA and he will be responding to this e-mail directly. There is no need to resend your e-mail, all messages are being automatically sent to him. Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to work with you on this special occasion. I know you will have a great experience. Congratulations, and thank you for choosing Palace Resorts."
