Hi I would make sure that anything discussed through emai, phone calls ect is also written in your contract and broken down. Even how you are going to pay! We were told that we could pay cash in resort when we arrive but then a few days before we were due to leave we had an email asking for a deposit of 100% of the total invoice to secure all our bookings (photographer, psav, all wedding extras ect..)!! After a few emails back and forth they agreed that we could still do this even though we were told that this would be fine from the start! If you are taking any decorations like favor boxes ect, I wouldn't tell them until you meet with your onsite wedding coordinator in resort. Otherwise they may charge you set up fees. Our wedding coordinator just took all our decorative bits, chair sashes, favor boxes, table crystals, ribbon for the cake and said she will sort it on the day. Hi, Our wedding day was amazing :-) We got married at 4pm Tucan gazebo, 11th October 2013 We had our cocktail hour at the Tucan garden and dinner and reception on the Tucan terrace. All perfect :-) The horse and carriage is a must!! We had the mariachi band during the cocktail hour to keep guests busy while we had photos on the beach ect.. They were fantastic and very funny. Even played requests!! Weather was perfect, food was great, we didn't have to do anything but turn up!! Valeria was brilliant, we met with her the day after we arrived at the hotel. We went through the emails I had been sending our off site wedding coordinator (Brenda) and it was very easy. Valeria made us both feel very relaxed about the whole process, she was amazing. We took decorations eg.. Wedding favors, chair sashes, scatter crystals ect. . And Valeria set them up perfectly at no extra cost!! Extra fees weren't even discussed!! Valeria was at all 3 of our private dinners that we had set up and made sure everything was ok before she left. On the wedding day she stayed with us through the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and our reception. I can't recommend her enough, Valeria was brilliant We had PSAV for our audio package and dance floor. All was set up before the ceremony (4pm) very polite and would highly recommend We had Ocean photo studio for our photography and videography. They were great, so friendly. Did all the shots we asked for and so much more. Again I would highly recommend I will post pics soon xx

Congratulations S-H!! I am so pleased you wrote on here, it's hard to get questions answered by the moon palace so to hear your wedding was perfect and the process simple is a huge relief If you don't mind me asking, we are planning to have the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner in either restaurant or outdoors but would like to have some sort of party/reception after the dinner. Did the wedding coordinator go through any options with you for things to do after the dinner reception?? We have 30 people coming with us now so would like to make the most of the whole day and night for as long as possible as we are not doing anything when we come home (party on the beach or one of the terraces etc.. ) Congratulations again :-) Donna xx

Hi Charlene , We have had our birth certificates stamped (apostile) but we are getting them translated in Mexico. I had an email the other day from thomas cook saying that the new law in Mexico now is that you have to have them translated when you arrive in mexico! Has anyone else had this email? We were going to do this anyway but just wondered if anyone had received the same info?

Hi Karen, Yes we have chose the same, the complimentary package and are just going to add a few extras when we get there. I will find out if its the same for us with choosing things 90 days out of the weeding as we just got told it would all be arranged in our meeting with the wedding coordinator the day after we arrive!! Our wedding will be at 4pm and are hoping to have the toucan gazebo and terrace for the cocktail hour? Fireworks on the beach would be amazing We have 24 guests booked at the minute not including myself and h2b and our 2 boys xx This website has been great for info, and I can't believe how many Moon brides there are already, there's a website on facebook called palace resorts and another one for brides at palce resorts. They are great, if you are on facebook I could add you to the group. So many pics and info on there xx

Hi Karen, Congratulations!! How exciting We don't get to pick much before we arrive as we are from the uk, how's your planning for the actual wedding day going? Do you get to pick your time and venue yet? We only have our date and time confirmed until we arrive at the hotel nothing else will be confirmed xx We arrive on the 2nd October - 16th xx Have you been given any venue options for a reception, we have quite a few guests coming with us and haven't a clue what do do for a reception! Hi Lou, Congratulations!! When are you flying out? It sounds like there could be a long queue outside the wedding coordinators office then lol x I' m sure we'll all get what we want. I've heard there's 3 or 4 gazebos and plenty of restaurants to choose from. We booked with 17 months to fly and it is going so fast, less than a year to go and I can't wait! Hows the planning going? I know you've only just booked but I bought my dress and bridesmaids dresses before we had booked lol x Donna
