I recently got back from my wedding in Riviera Maya, Mexico. I was super nervous about using a makeup artist/hair stylist who I did not know personally but am so happy I used Sara and her team! She was so sweet from the first day that I emailed her and emailed back super quickly. I showed her a few pictures of what I liked and she did all of my bridesmaids first and then me! All of my girls looked great and their makeup showed up wonderfully in pictures! I told her I wanted a dramatic look (not natural like most brides) and she did exactly that! My eyes stood out in all of the pictures and it all looked wonderful thanks to her and her team. She spent a lot of time making sure everything looked perfect and it was nice knowing that she really cared about how everyone looked. My sister originally wasn't going to get her makeup done but Sara didn't want her to not stand out in pictures with the rest of the bridesmaids, so she put some fake lashes on her and did some eye makeup quickly. This was so sweet of her to do and shows how much she loves her job and wants to make everyone happy. I would not hesitate to use her team again and would recommend her to anyone!

Hello! My wedding is march 30 2013 and I'm using del sol photography

Hello ladies! I am getting married at the Barcelo Palace march 2013 and also have had troubles booking because the resort is full so most of my friends were not able to book. I am using del sol photograph after reading tons of great reviews and I suppose we will have to fork up the ridiculous fee. My WC has not been in contact which I did expect the last few months but am hoping she gets in touch soon. I have Jacqueline. Does anyone else have her for a WC? Any tips on the whole experience?

Congrats on your wedding date coming up! I am also getting married at the Barcleo Maya Palace. Has any other brides had issues about booking? The resort is completely booked and most of my guests will not be able to attend because of this issue I had to do things on a super tight budget and we will be going with the blueberry package and not having a reception there. We will be having a cocktail hour and then have a reception when we come back home so all of our friends and family can join in! We chose the blueberry basically because we did not want to have an after noon time. Happy planning

Hello everyone! My name is Brittany and we are getting married March 2013 at the Barcelo Maya Palace. We are super excited for our big day, I have bought the dress, we have decided on the photographer (Del Sol Photography) and the makeup/hair artist! For the most part things have gone pretty well. Unfortunately, we do not have as many guests able to attend as we would have liked because the resort has already booked up and the wedding coordinator was not helpful with this at all. Any advice? Has anyone been to this resort before? I am new to this website, but have already found a lot of useful information!
