What about bringing your own music during the ceremony? If i have a song i want to walk down the aisle to or music to be played as guests arrive?

Hey girls, K, i haven't commented in awhile, so i've had a lot of questions building up, so forgive me .... First- an FYI- I just bought my dress and the salesperson said that she has had a lot of brides that have had no problem stowing their dress in the captains closet. She said they do some sort of treatment to the dress so that wrinkles are easily releasible, but not sure about that. But she did say if the resort doesnt not offer steaming service for the dress that she has had people just turn the shower up really hot and hang their dress up in the bathroom with the door shut and the wrinkles fall out. Also, we're getting married here and then doing a symbolic ceremony, were not advertising the part where we're technically married : ) But we want our friend, who is a minister, to marry us there...does anyone know if that would be a problem. Is the rooftop an option for a ceremony site? And, has anyone shipped anything to the hotel? I am going to be bringing a lot of stuff for OOT bags and decorations, etc and im worried it will be too stressful to check all those bags. Anyone that has gotten married at BBPD in the past year or two, would you mind sharing a link to your wedding photography page if it's up so we can see how it all came together? Also, anyone done their reception on La Baracaza recently? We're doing ours there and I'm so excited!! k, i think that does it. Thanks girls!

How cool!! I love "say yes to the dress" and always have every episode set to tape on my dvr. I live in Atlanta where they film it too and just got an email about coming to do my bridesmaids dresses while they're taping, who knows if we would get on air, but the whole thing is just fun! Can't wait to see all the pics from site visits and weddings to come!!

I need some help! We are looking at getting married at the BBPD on May 25, 2013, but haven't confirmed anything yet. Does anyone know if you can do a ceremony on the pier? I think we are going to do our reception on la barcaza. Has anyone done that for their actual reception? I just want to be able to have all the traditional elements of a reception like the cake cutting, announcing the wedding party, first dance,etc. thanks for any help!
