Think twice before booking your wedding at any resort in Jamaica...... My husband and I have been to Jamaica a total of six times it is our favorite place on earth so why not get married there!!! We booked our trip and planned on getting married in Jamaica we are both divorced and did not want a overdone wedding. Upon already booking the resort with our best man and maid of honor, we were told that the hotel could not accomodate us. As any bride I was furious and did not know what to do so began frantically searching options ( the trip is non refundable at this point) I went as far as offering the wedding cordinator at the resort extra money, a large tip and also asked to be put on a cancelation list. After begging and pleading I felt as if it was hopeless and knew that it was not going to happen at the resort. So why waste precious time right??? I read review after review searched and searched and stumbled across ... Dawn from Jamaica Elegant Weddings (www.jamaicaelegantweddings.com) Dawn was a hero in our eyes she had the best prices was willing to add or subtract anything you wanted from her wedding packages....everything was "no problem". She was available always via e-mail or phone to answer any questions and put your mind at ease, Dawn filled our paperwork, arranged for transportation took care of the officant and photographe; but above all dealt with the crazy bride in such a calm and professional manner. If I can give one piece of advice to any bride.....go with Dawn@ Jamaica Elegent Weddings. The resorts will tell you that your wedding is free or it is a small fee but this is totally false they will nickel and dime you to death. We witnessed several weddings the week we were there and resort weddings are nowhere near as nice as our wedding was nor did you get the attention to detail for less cost. The photographer Nicholas provided by Dawn was THE BEST.... www.nicholashutchinson.com We had a total of 12 photos included in our package Nick took almost 200 photos that all came out so beautiful we could not choose just twelve.....we got them all for such a unbeliveable price. There is no place you will find a better deal with such excellent quality.
