    JayKay, I remember looking at your wedding pictures and really loving the blue that you used. You used the chair sashes from the resort, right? They weren't sashes that you brought down yourself? And was the gazebo automatically decorated with the blue sashes too, or did you ask for that?

    One thing that has really bothered me lately is the rise in vendor fee for photographers to $800 if we're not using Digipix. I mentioned this to my travel agent the other day and she was very surprised and said she was going to mention it to the tour operators as she thought they may not be impressed by such a restrictive policy. I read on another thread that Misha Earle covered the vendor fee and day passes required in her fee - but the vendor fee for the hotel being mentioned was $100, not $800, so I'm not sure she'd be quite as eager to do that for GBPJ brides.     pask454, I love the first dress too! I saw your earliest post about buying your dress online and now that's totally the way I'm going to go . . . I tried on a dress I think I've fallen in love with at the bridal store, and it's $1000 . . . online - $150!!! I know the quality likely won't be the same, but to wear it for one day, why not?

    Funny enough, FutureKeese, I have toyed with the idea of having my wedding on June 20th, which is also my birthday. If I have both our anniversary and my birthday on the same date, maybe Mike will stand a chance of remembering the date!! lol. Question: we were discussing our wedding last night and what we both want. He is ultra-casual and doesn't want a ton of wedding hoopla . . . while I love all the traditional wedding stuff!     Hello ladies! I've just finished reading all 350 pages of this thread and am so thrilled to have found all this information! Ha, when I first started reading I had no idea what OOT bags were . . . I have my heart set on booking this resort for my June 2013 wedding. I'm meeting with the travel agent next week to see what prices are like. I'm planning on contacting Chandlyn shortly to see what kind of openings there are for next June. I feel a bit silly doing it so far in advance, but from what I've read, it doesn't seem that unusual to get things going this early.
