Shalane, For photography, we also get 1 hour (50 photos) plus a 30 min DVD included in our Ultimate Wedding package. I have added on extra photography from Adventure Photos at Dreams Los Cabos. We have Danielle. We picked the +3 hour coverage for $799.00. Our total photography will include: -total of 4 hours of coverage including getting ready, ceremony, photo session and cocktail party -50 edited photos + 60 edited photos (they emailed me to say that they usually take apprx. 500 images and then we get to pick the ones we like best. - digital images + slide show (online) + album (photo book). The Photo book is a coffee table book with 40 pages & 65 images in it. We receive this in the mail 5-6 weeks after we make our favorite selections. They do have a Costco in Cabo (about a 15 minute drive from the resort) and they have flowers there... just something I have considered. I cannot afford too many flowers outside of what is included in our package so I am trying to come up with other neat ideas for centerpieces but nothing yet. You? How many people are you having to your wedding? Ours will probably be about 35.

For Casi: Hi! And congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I am getting married at Dreams Los Cabos on October 4th, 2012! For the photography, I was in the same boat as you. We booked the 'Ultimate Wedding Package' which includes one 30 min. edited DVD of the ceremony (this is provided by whoever has a contract with the resort and is available the day of your wedding) + 1 hour of photography provided by Adventure Photos at Dreams Los Cabos. Obviously this is not enough time to capture your wedding! We ended up adding on a +3 hour photography package for a total of 4 hours with Adventure Photos at Dreams Los Cabos. I have been emailing back and forth with Danielle from Adventure Photos at Dreams Los Cabos and she has been wonderful!!!! The extra 3 hours is $800.00USD but it includes lots of stuff (she says they will take photos from us getting ready prior to the ceremony, the ceremony, cocktail hour on the beach with friends/family and a few at the reception). She says that included we will receive our favorite 120 digital edited photos plus a coffee table photo book of our favorite photos (40 pages) plus all the rights to the other images they snapped during that 4 hours! (I think on a disc or something) Have you planned the set up of your reception? That is where I am having trouble with my budget. I want it to look really pretty (hanging lanterns, tiki torches, candles, nice linens and centre pieces, etc) but I think I am going to have to do alot of DIY stuff because their costs add up very quickly! I would like the gold tiffany style chairs but they charge an extra $8.00USD per chair!!! Things like that make me nervous!!!! Who is your wedding planner? Cheers!

I am getting married at Dreams Los Cabos on October 4th, 2012! Cannot wait!!! I plan to bring a lot of extra decorations with me (I work for WestJet so I am lucky I can get a few extra baggage fees waived, lol!) I am doing the 'Ultimate Wedding Package' that includes 50 colour photos and a 30 minute DVD. Does anyone know much about this??? Should I get another photographer? We will be at Dreams from September 27th - October 7th 2012! I sure hope the weather is hot and sunny the entire time!
