  2. Hi ladies, I have been a long time reader, but have not participated much. I have appreciated all of the advice! My wedding is on the 30th of November in Akumal and I'm starting to get verrrry nervous and excited! I have a question about hair and makeup. I emailed MVP who I really wanted but they are booked on my day. Has anyone had, or does anyone have any info on the resort salon? I don't really want to do my own makeup as I want the whole experience and I know my mind will be racing that day (plus, I'm not that great at it to begin with). I have also noticed that people hire photographers from outside of the resort, I didn't really know it was possible, and I thought I'd just go with the resort photographers. Any advice on this? Thank you for any information
  3. Hi ladies! I am getting married on Nov 30th 2012. I have just started talking to my wedding coordinator, Paloma. Does anyone else have her? Have they been having a good experience so far? I also wanted to know if anyone has heard anything about the makeup artists? I am not sure if I'd want to do it myself, I think I'm going to be a mess that day! Happy Planning!
  4. I'm excited! I booked my group spot for my wedding from Nov 24th the Dec 2 2012 at the Akumal location! (My new husband and I will stay an extra week after). I have yet to speak to the wedding coordinator there, but I should on Monday. The website shows a few wedding packages but unfortunatly it doesn't have any of the add on's/extras! I will be reading on here, and hopefully I can get to know some other brides and share some ideas! Has anyone put together a really nice package for around 25 guests? If so, how much did it cost? I also wanted to know if anyone knew anything about the photographer there and the hair and makeup artists, are they good? Happy Planning! Lauren
