  1. I just started planning our wedding on Kauai for next May, 2013. Here's what I have done so far: Got a quote from The Beach House Restaurant- they offer wedding services as well and reception. Decided on making it a more private wedding with just 10 or so guests including ourselves. Trying to decide on whether we should rent a house, or get a special off of Alaska Airlines packages or Costco, which would include the hotel, air and car in one. We think we will rent at least one house or condo with two rooms for my FI's brother and sister-in-law, so they will not have to pay for accomodations. If anyone has any suggestions for me on things they did with their guests on Kauai, it would be greatly appreciated! I'm thinking we'll do a hike to the waterfalls one day, go to the beach and do a picnic of course, maybe do some beach guys vs. ladies contests and go to the brewery? We finally decided on Kauai vs. Mexico because I really fell in love with Troy while i was on vacation in Kauai with my mother and he was back home So I think it will be a really memorable time for us and super romantic! Hope to hear from some Kauai Brides soon... Kaara a.k.a. MrsKing2Be!
  2. No, you aren't the only one waiting for "forever and a day" my fiance and I got engaged the day before Halloween 2011 and our wedding will be in May 2013 on Kauai! It will go by faster than we think!
  3. Thank you so much for sharing this information! I greatly appreciate it as I have just started planning my wedding to Kauai. So far I've gotten a quote fom Kauai Beach House Restaurant... And I was a little shocked, but the coordinator seems very nice, as nice as you can seem via email! Lol I'm so glad I found this site!
