Hi All, I am staying at the Majestic Elegance and was wondering if any of who stayed there planned a group excursion with your guests? We didn't want to pay up front for anything, so our travel agent suggested that we all just book when we get there. I was just wondering if anyone had success with booking a group snorkeling last minute at the resort itself when you were down there. Thanks!

Thanks everyone for all of your answers! For those who stayed at the ME, did you end up putting your cash in the room safes? I'm getting a little nervous about all the cash we will have there, and I don't want to have to carry it around with us everywhere we go!

For anyone who stayed at the Majestic Elegance, how far before the ceremony did you tell your guests to meet in the lobby for the transportation? I'm working on the wedding timeline now and want to have them printed up soon! Thanks!

Hello everyone, I was wondering if any of you could suggest a bar area for us to host our "welcome party" cocktail hour. We don't want to pay extra for the area, but just want a meeting place where we can kind of spread out. I've never been to the resort, so I don't know which of the bar locations would be best. I still don't know how much I'm supposed to send, but I have all of the banking info For those who are getting married early 2013 (my wedding in January 26), and have already gotten save the dates and invitations going, what resort did you pick? I am having a hard time getting prices this early in the game, but I really want to send out save the dates and have our website ready to go with all the information my guests will need, including prices. Hi All, My fiance and I really wanted to do a legal/civil ceremony in Punta Cana. I just heard from Mayte that it can be difficulut to book the judge and it is a lot of extra work. I was just wondering what all of your experiences have been with both the civil, or if you choose to have a symbolic ceremony and get married back in the states. Thanks so much! Darcy
