  1. Just back from our honeymoon and thought I would share my thoughts on the vendors we used for our November 10, 2012 wedding! Wedding Coordinator: Asher at Vivid Occasions - Look no further. She is the best. Such a pro and so fun to work with! I honestly didnt have to worry about a single wedding detail. She made planning so easy. On the day of the wedding I was able to relax and enjoy myself becuase I knew she was on top of everything! Hair & Makeup: Suzanne Morel - I had my hair and makeup trial a few days before the wedding. I told the stylist that I wanted VERY natural makeup and there was definitely a bit of a disconnect there. But they listened to my critique and what I wanted. On the wedding day I was VERY happy with the result. I would reccomend having a hair and makeup trial at home and taking pictures so you have something to show. The actual hair and makeup artist does not speak english (they have great translators though) so I think it would just save some communication to have pictures of exactly what you want (not pictures of some other girl with makeup you like). Decor: Linens & Things & More: I worked with Elsa and she immediately got my vision during our first phone call. She actually took my vision beyond what I had thought was possible and made it better! Venue: Sheraton Hacienda Del Mar - This is a great location for your wedding and reception. We got married on De Cortez Beach and had the reception at De Cortez Terrace. Everything was just perfect and so beautiful. All of our guests had an amazing time and I can't say enough positive things about this resort. The contract process was a bit challenging but that is typical. Photographer: Dennis Berti - Loved him! He was super chill and totally got our style. Posed photos were not our favorite part but he made it quick and painless. Best of all the photos are gorgeous! DJ: Pacific Sound - Awesome. Played all of our song requests. Our guests danced from the first "dance" song until they made us shut the music off! Ceremony Music: Trio Los Mosquitos: Lovely musicians. They played beautiful music and many of our guests commented on how great they were. I think that is everyone! We had the most amazing wedding and HIGHLY reccomend a destination wedding in Cabo!

  5. Did you decide between the Sheraton and Fiesta? I am struggling with the same decision!
  6. I am looking to get married in Cabo in November 2012. We have stayed at the Sheraton many times and have always enjoyed the experience. My wedding planner also suggested Fiesta Americana and now were torn between the two. I haven't been there and probably won't have the chance to go before we select our venue. Can anyone share some pros/cons on either? We will probably have about 50 guests and want a toes in the and ceremony with a reception as close to the beach as possible. Our budget is about average but we hope to be able to provide several events during the weekend (i.e. welcome cocktail, sunset cruise, etc). Any thoughts (i.e. service, cost, food quality, look, etc) on either hotel would be appreciated!
