Is anyone getting married between Nov 3rd - 17th? Ours is booked for the 10th and I feel so unorganized :eek: We picked the pergola for the ceremony but the weather looks like it has been rainy/gloomy lately but I was told November is one of the best months to go. Also I'm taking a suitcase of vases, floating candles, and paper lanterns, does anyone know if that's okay to take over the border? I read somewhere that they charge you duty on everything. Anyyyy information is helpful

Okay so, weve decided that a destination wedding would be perfect, but where does a person start? How far in advance do you normally have to book stuff, What do you book first? The date of the wedding at the hotel or the vacation? How do you book it? Ive spoken with a couple travel agents but the prices they have been quoting me for travel only are ridiculous! We were thinking Nov-Dec 2012 but Ive read a couple threads and its taken some people two years to book theyre, is this too short notice? Group rates?! The travel agents who have given us group rate quotes have been about 400$ more than booking through Travelocity or Expedia. RESORTS?! How do you pick a resort, we have been looking into Now Jade Riviera Cancun, but they would like a 800$ deposit to garauntee your wedding date but when I request available dates, they request my credit card number first, is that normal? I need help
