I'm a graphic designer specializing in wedding album design. Using a graphic designer is a great way to get a very professional product that won't break the bank. I work with a lot of brides who had a destination wedding or simply can't afford their photographer's package, but they're not up for DIY. For the layout design, I charge by the page ($6) with unlimited changes and photoshopping, for example. And I order albums from all the same album sources professional photographers use, including: Zookbinders, Black River Imaging, Finao, and NationsPhotoLab. When choosing a designer, my advice is to take the time to review their portfolio to be sure their design taste matches yours...and be sure to find someone who is flexibe, patient, and willing to make your changes. Also, graphic designers are very familiar with all of the album types and varieties out there. They can educate you on the differences, and they can help you choose the best album for your budget.
