That is quite expensive! Where did you end up booking your wedding?

Hello Brides, I too am looking at booking my wedding in 2013 at Paradisus (Ceremony on bridge to beach behind the Gabi club & Reception by the pool on La Esmerelda side). I visited the hotel on March 13th and must admit I fell in LOVE! It is gorgeous - clean, modern, and has a great layout. Throughout our tour my FI and I couldn't find much to complain about. The pools are large and clean, the beach is not too far, the staff was extremely friendly as was Ana and Myrna the WC's, the restaurants and SPA were beautiful (although we were not given the option to try anything - breakfast, etc). We were given tours of all the rooms, except for the standard room which I wanted to see most as they claimed they did not have any available. They provided a lot of information regarding the packages, flowers, photography, welcome bags but could not provide room rates (which I am still waiting for). I love this hotel but I fear it will be too expensive. Has anyone received group rate information for 2013 yet?
