  1. Hi!!! We are arriving on the 13th so i have plenty of time to work it all out. Were having a really small wedding compared to yours theres only a total of 6 of us!! Love to meet up for a cocktail or two!! Our wedding colours are lime green and hot pink, all our beach towels are matching pink and green so you should spot us out Rachel x
  2. Hi. Its been a while since ive been on here. Please add me im leaving in 34 days!!!! Cant wait, my wedding is 21st may 2012. Has anyone got any thoughts on the photographer mexican wedding photos. They work with lomas so dont have the extra fee to pay, i was unsure of caribe and thiught about these. Has anyone got any input as i need to book asap. Im after a modern outlook on the photography. Any thoughts or reviews please Thanks rachel xxx
  3. My wedding is at 3pm also, I'm trying to sort the photographer, Caribe. I have notified the wedding planner when I want them (2-230) but not had a response. I'm not sure about what time to have the meal, I'll prob ask for 630 also. I work full time so planning this wedding has gone slow for me also, but I have been off work for 2 weeks so it;s helped me to plan a couple of OOT bags for the parents that are travelling with us. I think there a fantastic idea. I've got another couple weeks off so I'm sure hopefully I'll get most arranged. I wasn't gonna have a veil, but when I was in the wedding shop and they put it on, my friend and I just started crying. I felt like I looked like a true bride. I haven't purchased it yet but I'm defo having it. My dress is a very simple strapless chiffon floaty dress, and the veil was chapel length!! I was worried my dress looked like a night dress until the veil went on. I was so worried that getting married in 40 degree heat I wanted to be comfortable. R x
  4. That sounds good too. I have enquired how much a private dinner on the beach wouild be instead of havingit at spoons, but the WC hasn't replied yet, I suppose I'll have to wait a while for a response on that. How's your wedding planning ? How many you got confirmed ? What are your plans ? We are only a month apart !! I've got 199 days to go till I'm Mrs KG!!!

  6. There is no cost per person, I chose the pearl package which included a meal for 40 in the semi-private spoons. As theres only 8 of us that all good. The meal and my cake are included. However, I am adding on lots of extras to make it special. I believe it only costs pp when you request a private reception area. I'm confident that spoons will be perfect, and as MURMEL states, 'going to the Mojito bar after saves me hiring a dj etc.. which seems pointless for 6 guests, I reckon the mojito bar will be perfect to continue the night celebrations. My dress isn't going to be huge just a simple ivory chiffon floaty dress so I shouldn't feel uncomfortable around strangers. It's so hard to imagine and plan this without ever being there. I will arrive at Azul 9 days before I get married so I hope I will be able to tweek things before incase I get it wrong. But I think it adds more excitement, not knowing exactly what it's going to be like cause I'm sure it'll be lovely Rx
  7. Thanks for that Murmel, Going to the Mojoito bar after the sounds like a great idea. I know theres only both our parents and our 2 children going but I don't want the special day to be over once the meal finished. After a few drinks I can imagine dancing the night away, not sure about FI !!! I was thinking about letting of some lanterns on the beach once dark, would you know if the hotel would allow this? Thanks R
  8. Thanks so much, you are right. The meal isn't so important when you put it like that 2 weeks with the family is fair more valuable. I have took note and will ensure I inform the WC about the flowers. Thanks R
  9. Do any of you brides know what the area in Spoons restaurant is like for the semi-private reception. I am only having 8 guests so it is a very intimate wedding. I was just concerned if the area is to big, and how did any of you brides decorate the area, table runner, favours etc... Also is the wedding cake on display in there. After the ceremony, the flowers on the gazebo, what do they do with these Can I get them to bring them to decorate the table for the meal? As I'm not having a private reception or big party, any suggestions on what we could do after the meal. Any help and advice would be apprieciated. This is all a mine field!!!! Thanks Rachel x
  10. Hi Kerry Have you managed to get into contact with the WC. Ive tried emailing through the azul address that first choice gave me but that was a week ago. I'm so worried because I haven't got a clue what I need or not need to arrange. HELP!!! Rx
  11. Hi Your wedding pictures are just stunning. Hope you dont mind me asking but how did you first get into contact with the WC.
