I am having a destination wedding, our colors are Tiffany Blue, Red & Ivory I thought the luggage tags would add a nice touch to my STD's and get my guest a little excited about traveling out of the country. I ordered some starfish and heart charms from Ebay that were supposed to be tied to the ribbon about a month ago and still haven't received them. I could not wait on the seller as I really need to get these out this week. Let me know what you ladies think

Wendy & Skygirl, Those are some good ideas, I may do that, I just thought it would be a waste to send out 50 extra invitations to those who will most likely not be able to make it, especially when inviations could cost $3.00-7.00 a piece. It would be very helpful for them to at least reply through our website.

I will be sending out save the dates the end of this month for our destination wedding, I would really like for guest to RSVP via our website by a specific date before we have the formal invitations printed, I really don't want to waste money on inviations I may not need. what would be the best way to word this on the "Save the dates?"

If you've been married at Ocean Blue & Sand, Punta Cana, or can provide help, I (and I'm sure many others) have some questions that I hoping you can answer!! I'd like to hear some feedback on the Photography and Video services offered by the resort? Is it a resort photographer or do they contract an outside company? What's included...hours of service, digital/film, all pics on CD, etc.? We signed up for a package that included photography/video but now I'm thinking about hiring an outside company to be safe. How was the hair/makeup service? How long did all the legal business take...blood tests, etc.? About how long is the Civil or Symbolic Ceremony? Fees? How was the Judge? Professional, easy to understand in English, etc? Did anyone sign up for the stereo/speaker system for the ceremony (not the reception)? It seemed really expensive ($200) and I was wondering if it's worth it. DJ Services? Do you provide your own playlist? What are the options for the reception? Good location? Is there an option to have a bond fire on the beach? How are the Rooms and Suites? Good views of the ocean? Any other tips or suggestions you can think of?

MsClarke, Would you be willing to email the additional wedding package information. I only received the Wedding Packages also. We are planning our wedding for June 9, 2012 and I am still a little confused on how all of this works. We should have about 30-40 gues and I am still trying to figure out the best way to go. Are there any packages that include a reception, ipod or DJ (do you have to supply your own playlist for the DJ). Any information would be greatly appreciated.
