    I spent $18 per bag which covered 2 guests. I figured if they could pay to fly out, I can give them a little something extra. And while it was a big expense, I think it was worth it!

    Yes, these websites don't actually "purchase" the gifts your guests buy for you...they actual just total up the amount bought and send you the money for what your guest spent. It is up to you where you actually spend the money. Although I recommend choosing a website that keeps track of what people actually bought you so you can give them an appropriate thank you for the "sunset dinner"

    Such a cute idea, I think having the front desk send them sounds like the smartest option and the way to get the most back.

    I don't think just having a registry obligates guests to buy you a gift. Especially if you tell them that their gift to you is them coming. So having one wouldn't hurt for those guests that still wanted to get you a little something for wedding day.

    I have gotten some free things from Vistaprint already (postcards, stickers,etc.) but I am trying to find a place to get their brochures free/cheap....any suggestions???

    I don't think guest expect them at all. And I can't imagine they would be upset not getting one. It sounds like you already have your hands full! Maybe just a nice "thank you letter" to put in their cabin for when they arrive from you guys. They wouldn't take up much space in your luggage and you can get them cheap or free on vistaprint!
