  1. Kittenheart, you brought your flowers from home? Were they real or silk flowers?? I am looking at my flower options and I feel like I have no choice but to use lomas, which I'm not satisfied with...=(
  2. Hi Everyone, I've kicked my wedding planning into high gear and I'm coming across many obstacles re: flowers so I'm turning to you ladies on this forum for some guidance. 1) Has anyone used flowers outside of Lomas? If so, does anyone have any recommendations?? 2) Is it possible to purchase some things from Lomas and other items (eg. bridal/bm bouquet) elsewhere? 3) If there are no options for outside vendors, can Lomas customize the flowers? Thank you in advance ladies - I'm not very happy with the selection they have for us and I have a feeling they're overpriced, but with an $800 outside vendor fee I hope our possible florist will have prices that would be more worth it. Hope to hear ya'll! SL
  3. Hey everyone! I can see that a lot of couple have booked a mid-summer date for a Cabo wedding...which is what I might have to do as well, but I'm wondering, what is the weather like in June-Aug? I've been to other places in Mexico and it was pretty hot and humid; I understand Cabo is more consistent in weather but have never experienced it and don't know how that will impact a wedding... Any feedback?
  4. Hi Everyone, Just wanted to say thank you for creating this thread!~ I just joined recently and is looking at Zoetry as well, but with the information I'm reading it might be way out of budget - maybe not for my fiancé and I, but definitely for my guests. From what I understand, it would cost around $1600 for a week per person at Zoetry! And we're also flying from all over the world, so the cost of the plane ticket makes it even more pricey...wow this is kind of dissappointing! Since Dreams was affiliated with Zoetry we might consider that as a second option, but what are everyone's thoughts about Dreams vs. Zoetry in terms of what one is paying for price (wedding, guest accommodations etc)? Are there any other suggestions to consider for an AI resort comparable to Zoetry (minus the high costs!) ?
  5. Hi WedCabo33! I haven't been to Cabo before, but I figured it would be a nice place to get married since other cities in Mexico are so accessible for Torontonians/Canadians... I didn't want it to be a place where I can pick up a last minute package and spend a week there randomly, but then again I may be thinking too exclusively. I also hear the weather is pretty consistent throughout the year, no crazy storms or unbearable heat (if you're not going in July/August I suppose). My fiancé and I really liked Zoetry Casa Del Mar, but I think it might be on the pricier side beacuse it is more of a boutique hotel as opposed to a larger resort. It is affiliated by Dreams though, so that will probably be my second choice... It's just so difficult trying to find the best time to go with everyone's scheduling and high/low seasons etc! I'm also wondering how it differs in working with an on shore DW planner as opposed to one from the resort...not sure how to go about that either!
  6. We're looking to get married in Cabo as well, between the months of Feb - May 2012, but we don't even know where to start!! Are you all booking your wedding with the coordinator directly from the resort or hiring a DW planner from home?
